hayemyes
Hayemyes, what did the government of Armenia do for Varduhi? ... and what cultural work did Aram do for "keeping many Armenians in the Diaspora"? the government officially expressed condolences, and they opened the hall after A Khachaturyan for people to pay their alst tributes, which isn't something bad, she totally deserved it, but so did Aram I meant to say Aram kept Armenians in the Diaspora Armenian with his music which always brought kindness and happiness...I know many will start arguing here saying is his music armenian or turkish or i dono what, but let me tell you his music is as armenian as Harout's or Tata's...he invested alot in churches around the world, and was one of the most listened to singers in the diaspora...it's not right that the opinion of a few people outstand that of thousands of others'

"Beware the ides of march..." 1) i can't believe someone can be so dumb as not to understand when someone tells them to learn to say people's names or nicknames properly, it's just a matter of respect and knowing how to read, i was very polite with you all along, even though I have a few ideas to make fun of your name 2) i am not imposing my opinion on anyone, i am simply answering the questions that i was asked 3) i believe that even if someone doesn't like aram it's not a reason for hiding the news of his death and not mentionning it in the daily news (if castro died? would the US media not talk about it? or if Kocharian dies, God forbid, his opposing parties should not mention it in their media releases? i know the importance of the people involved may not be similar, but you get the idea of neutral news presentation) its just a matter of being neutral, I'm not saying everyone should talk about it and make programs, but it's still news, and it's not democratic to censor it, especially when probably 80% of your viewers like the guy 4) i repeat, i don't impose my opinions on anyone, everyone is free to think as they wish 5) this topic isn't to ruin someone's memory with pointless remarks such as yours that try to make fun of ppl 6) you will be ignored from now on, please stop responding to my replies

Maybe the first time they didn't know how to handle the death of a famous pop singer, but the second time they learned from their mistakes... Yervant1
Yerevan Nights On Nov. 7th George Tutunjian passed away at the age of 76. He was an Armenian patriotic and revolutionary singer and very well respected within the Armenian Diaspora. He was honored in 2005 by the ARF YOC Pegor Ashod Chapter for his lifetime achievment. Our condolences to his family and friends. How about we talk about George as much as we talked about Aram and Vardouhi. After all we are talking about equality aren't we? MosJan
A1+ ARAM ASATRYAN WILL BE BURIED IN ARMENIA [05:40 pm] 08 November, 2006 image more images prev next This time yesterday it didn’t even occur to the participants of the baptizing ceremony in Oshakan that the godfather will not be alive soon. The godfather was famous singer Aram Asatryan who died suddenly at about 07:00 p.m. yesterday. Asatryan was 53 years old. According to eyewitnesses, he was in high spirits till the end. He told the participants of the party that they would have a wonderful day together. But shortly after that Aram Asatryan lost consciousness right in the hall. He was taken to hospital immediately, but the doctors failed to save his life. According to them, he died from heart attack. Aram Asatryan was born on March 3, 1953, in Echmiadzin. He had three sons and a daughter. One of his sons died a few months ago at the age of 30. Could the personal grief be the reason for his death? Asked this question his press secretary Hrachuhi Yeranosyan answered, “He never spoke about his problems”. Aram Asatryan arrived in Armenia from the USA five days ago. His family is still in the States. On November 10 the presentation of his new CD titled “My Sons” will take place in the Armenian Music Center. After that he intended to go on a concert tour in Russia and Europe. Tomorrow the singer’s family will arrive in Armenia to participate in the funeral. According to the preliminary information, the Office for the Dead will take place on November 10 at 06:00 p.m. in the singer's house in Echmiadzin. The funeral will take place on November 12 in Echmiadzin. We managed to get the photos of the singer taken a few hours before his death, as well as the video of the baptizing ceremony.
