Takoush
I am surprised no one mentioned in here Armenia's long lasting Poet/Author/Polytical Figure Sylvia Gaboudigian's passing as Armenia mourns in sadness. She will forever remembered of her "Xosk Im Vortoun" poetry to ignite the heart's of the diasporan Armenians to remember themselves and to teach and speak Armenian with their offsprings. I will surely remember her as I recited her "Xosk Im Vortoun" poetry in front of 2 1/2 thousand Armenians when I was only 8 years old in Cairo. The speaker hence announced that I was a "Hayasdantsi axchik". It brings to me fond memories from my childhood years in Egypt. Though there has been controversies around her; but I firmly believe that there is no validity to it, and she will always be remembered for her poetries and her Armenianess.
