I just LOVE tAta!!! He's the cutest, most adorable armo singer there is...AND he's a big talent. Do you love him as much as I do? Then please share; I like his style...he's soooooo different; i wouldn't exactly categorize him as 'rabiz' although that's cool too I'm so excited he's having another concert in l.a. I'v been to the last one he had in '99. It was aWeSOmE !!!!

Welcome Hyebruin (although Hyetrojan would be more welcome here )! If you check the older threads, you'll see alot of talk about Tata. I think I started one at one time called "Tata vs. Tatoul".

Actually I didn't really notice his cuteness all that much in the beginning don't know why??? ~~~~But then as he started decoding my heart with his music, I was like wooooa!!! This cutie can sing so well AND....you gotta love his personality....he's so fun at concerts! ~~~I keep hearing how people see him at events here in l.a. and I'm thinking gosh I wish I was there; I'd just go up to him, say 'hi' ask for a hug, and THEN I'll plant a sweet kiss on him that he'll remeber on his way home as he rides on his 'garab's wings' ~~~~~~~~oh, and as far as chuko goes...he's really really funny and talented...just doesn't move my heart like tAta does

I saw Tata too this weekend, but my impressions of him were much different from what I thought it would be. I must say I was disappointed. I think Tata thinks that he's a big thing or something because what he did to the Armenian Community was a rip off. The KERMESS as we call it, lasted about 10 hours on Saturday and 7 hours on Sunday and Tata only sang 1 and a half hours each day and he performed the exact same program the two days, with the sasme order and even the same comments. It was the replica of his latest concert video. Plus he insulted Canadians and Armenians. He even threw all the water bottles people gave him everywhere on the stage. He got an argument with some of the people. Usually, in the past years it went well with Harout and Nersik as they would sing for at least 8 hours. I remember once Nersik sang till 4 o clock in the mornning and people still begged him to sing more and he didn't refuse. That's my take.

Come on, lighten up a little. I was at the Kermess, people loved him and they were having a great time. How did he insult Armenians and Canadians?

wh00t,

I have nothing personal against Tata, nut you have to understand that people love anything that makes them dance. When they plainly played music hundreds of people were dancing. And I'm not the only one who heard the insults. You probably don't know the inside news and the people organizing the kermess who were complaining too. At first, when his microphones weren't working, he said that Canada is a retarded country and about insulting the Armenians, I can't translated in english and I don't want to post the insult on the forum or tell it to Armenians, but believe me I'm not the only one who heard it. I had a friend there who came from Lebanon, and she told me that similar incidents had happened in Lebanon when Tata sang there. Plus, why do you think he started going off stage very quickly and from the back side on Sunday, while he went through the people on Saturday?
