TurkeyGuilty
System of a Down's second album, Toxicity, will be released on August 4th. There is a demo CD available, featuring "Prison Song," and "X" (aka, Multiply). You can also request "Chop Suey" on your local radio stations. Pilafhead
You can also listen to "Chop Suey" at their website. Both "Prison Song" & "Chop Suey" have been disappointing.
wh00t
I must disagree.. I have heard the entire album and must say it is an EXCELLENT one, innovative and purely System of a Down. Although I found Prison Song a tad weak by SOAD standards, Chop Suey is a masterpiece and the best choice for the first single off Toxicity. My props to SOAD, I hope this one makes them big.. and it will, if they market it right..
Pilafhead
I'm sure I'll love it, but don't you think all the new songs have the same structure: slow part--fast part that goes rat-a-tat-a, rat-a-tat-a, rat-a-tat-a, etc.--slow part--fast part again. I noticed this last Nov at the Palace. The song about Coke was different, but all the rest were the same. I'm really looking forward to the new one (especially since Arto Tunciboyacian is on it!), but I hope the songs vary like the first one. I hope you're right!
