Iran Forever
Years ago in an interview here in Washington, Mr. Ilham Aliyev sharply criticized Iran, a "fellow Shi'ite country" for helping Armenia against fellow Shi'ites in Karabakh...where is Mr. Aliyev now, that his main friend and ally Israel is bombing the heck out of Shi'ite southern Lebanon, and Beirut's Shi'ite areas? Read this article, where he makes comments about Iran/Armenia relationship a few years before becoming President: http://www.azer.com/aiweb/categories/magaz...ocar_ilham.html WHERE are you Mr. Aliyev, now that Israel, your beloved Israel, of which Azerbaijan is the Number 1 supplier of oil, is razing Shi'ite villages to the ground and slaughtering your fellow Shi'ites in Lebanon? My sympathy with the poor Armenians of Lebanon who are also suffering because of Israel's aggression. Dave
Aliyev is a vile coward who tends to take advantage from the existing situation in the Middle East. He would never show sympathy to their Shiite "brothers" of Lebanon even though he complained that Iran isn't doing enough for its Shiite "brothers" in the north. We can never ever trust Azerbaijan in the future because the likes of Aliyev are in power.
