Verginne, we are on the same page, and I like your posts. Israel and Zionism are the enemies of Christianity. I was in the West Bank where Palestinian Christians' chief complaint was chafing under Israeli occupation, not the Muslims around them. If a Christian Palestinian from Beit Sahour in the West Bank wants to go to East Jerusalem to the Church of the Holy Sepulchre he must apply for a permit at least a month in advance, and he may or may not get it. In Beit Jala near Bethlehem, Jewish settlers from the nearby settlement of Efrat defaced an Orthodox Church.

I like your posts Edward....we think alot alike. As for Cuntasleazy Vice, sorry Condomleeza Rice I meant, I call her Ms. Affirmative Action (that's how she became provost at Stanford University which also catapulted her political career)...how impressive! She speaks fluent Russian. Big f--king deal! So does everybody in Armenia for that matter, not to mention all the ex-Soviet republics. Her expertise on U.S.-Soviet relations has no value now that the Cold War is over, and this poor bitch knows NOTHING about the Middle East, its history, or its culture. She caters to the White establishment, and would have made a great loyal slave back in the old pre-Civil war days of slavery. Any White plantation owner would have been lucky to have such a loyal slave. Today that guy is Bush, and Condi does a great job of being his dear personal Black servant. As for Bush, he had to find a loyal dog like her, and also prove to the rest of America that his Republican party does believe in "diversity" and "integration" and the quota system after all...with Condi he achieved 3 things...got himself an obedient slave, met the quota for hiring a woman, and maintained the quota for hiring an African American one. Colin Powell, on the other hand, was not picked because of his skin color, but because of his merits, his military credentials, his gift for diplomacy...but he was too intelligent for Bush, and Bush needed someone less intelligent than himself, and Condi was the right person.

As they say in Iran, "Bush goh mikhore, ghalate ziyadi mikone".

Dianjan probably will continue to support Israel because he is a ruski yevrei pretending to be Armenian. I'm telling you, he's a Zhid.

Arabs=Muslim? I doubt it...Syria has two million Christians, Iraq over half a million, Egypt 8 million Coptic Christians, 12 percent of Palestinians are Christian, Lebanon is roughly half Christian, Jordan has a large Christian community, etc. etc. etc.

Your friends the Jews help those Azeris whom you hate so much, more than any other nationality...I seriously doubt you are Armenian, but a Russian Jew passing himself off as Armenian.

This forum is for Armenia and Armenia's friends like Iran...perhaps you as an Israeli should join an Azerbaijani forum, they are your friends. Lech lecha, anu lo rotseem klaveem kamocha ba forum haze.

You know I just realized that almost ALL Armenians speak a second language in addition to their own...Iranian Armenians speak Persian as a second language, Armenia's Armenians Russian, Lebanon's Armenians Arabic, Romania's small Armenian community Romanian, "Turkey's" Armenians Turkish, and the list could go on. Not too many nationalities in the world can claim that ALL their citizens are bilingual. Also Armenians have their very own script, like Georgians, etc.

Hellektor, one of the reasons this pipeline was created was to facilitate getting Azeri oil to Israel. You see the pipeline goes through Georgia and terminates at the MEDITERRANEAN port of Ceyhan in southern Turkey, and from there oil barges cross the Meditteranean to the MEDITERRANEAN port of Haifa (in so called "Israel") and some will go through the Suez Canal as well and end up in "Israel"'s other port, Eilat, on the Red Sea.

Zartonk, my father and I were in Tbilisi two months ago...we were about to lose our minds, since we speak no Georgian and no Russian...their script is just about as difficult as Armenian script, and hard to interpret. But what a beautiful country! I dragged my Muslim father to the Church in Metechi where the Robe of Christ is...he admired its architecture and the beautiful iconography inside. We were surprised that Georgian has many words similar to Persian...yogurt is "matsoni", like Persian "mast" and the Persian words "kishmish" and "penjereh" have made their way into the Georgian language. I don't think the Georgian language has the letter "f" though, since they seem to use "P" where "F" is used...for example I was telling this Georgian about Fereidounshahr in Iran which has an old Georgian community...he had heard of it, but pronounced it "Pereidounshahr".

St. Shoshana who was martyred in Tbilisi was Armenian, I believe...there is a church in Tbilisi named after her.

I'm not sure what the relevance of the link is to this thread...but then I guess you're flirting with recreational drugs again...

Years ago in an interview here in Washington, Mr. Ilham Aliyev sharply criticized Iran, a "fellow Shi'ite country" for helping Armenia against fellow Shi'ites in Karabakh...where is Mr. Aliyev now, that his main friend and ally Israel is bombing the heck out of Shi'ite southern Lebanon, and Beirut's Shi'ite areas? Read this article, where he makes comments about Iran/Armenia relationship a few years before becoming President: http://www.azer.com/aiweb/categories/magaz...ocar_ilham.html WHERE are you Mr. Aliyev, now that Israel, your beloved Israel, of which Azerbaijan is the Number 1 supplier of oil, is razing Shi'ite villages to the ground and slaughtering your fellow Shi'ites in Lebanon? My sympathy with the poor Armenians of Lebanon who are also suffering because of Israel's aggression.

A Little Help Here - Turks Polluting Jewish Forums With Their Garbage
Iran Forever replied to Lev7's topic in Genocide
Why does it surprise anyone that Turkey, Israel and the USA are the Three Amigos? Of course all three would be natural allies of each other! All three were built on illegal conquest of someone else's land and the destruction of the indigenous culture and people. All three are bullies, all three have no other friends in the world besides each other, all three behave barbarically. Even Turks themselves have a saying, "Haci haci Mekke'de, veli veli tekke'de, deli deli dakkikada bulurmush"...a haji finds a haji in Mecca, a "veli" finds another in a dervish gathering place (tekke), and a CRAZY finds another CRAZY the FIRST minute (they meet). Three crazies have found each other and are in bed together. Four actually, add Azerbaijan. -
Hellektor, we always LOVED Arzooman...they had the BEST "mortadella" in all of Iran, and there was not a single sandwich shop in Tehran that didn't use "Arzooman" products. And I am sorry, Hellektor, I have not been to Iran in a long time, and I thank you for updating me...I had no idea things had changed. Anyways, Armenians have always been a part of Iranian society. Do you know there is a statue at this famous Tehran "meidan" (public square) that was made by Vazgen Karimian, an Iranian Armenian? In Iran, there is NO Muslim-Christian rift whatsoever, and Iran's Christians, namely Armenians and Assyrians, have always lived next to Muslims in peace. We are ALL Iranians over there. By the way, I wonder how the Iranian Armenian soccer team Ararat is doing these days? And I agree with you Hellektor, Armenian food distributors have always been one of the most trusted marketers in Iran. Zendeh bad doostiye javedaneye Armanestan va Iran...Long live Hayastan/Iran friendship! And same message to Azerbaijan Republic: Yashasin Ermenistan/Iran dostlugu.

Just a clarification, this rumor came from someone who is against the current regime in Iran...I am no fan of the current government in Iran either, but I would not make up a vicious LIE like that. Christians and Jews are recognized minorities under the current Iranian Constitution, (only Bahais have been excluded and this is because they are considered a heretical branch of Shi'ism that split off from Shi'ism, and also they do not accept Mohammad as being the last prophet..[remember Bah'aism came after Mohammad]...and claim that Baha'ullah is the last prophet), and have full rights any Iranian citizen does. They are not allowed to convert Muslims of course (and Jews do not convert anyone for that matter), but in many ways are given more flexibility in their daily lives...if a Christian is found with a bottle of alcohol in his/her car, there is no punishment, but if it is a Muslim, there is. That said, the only way the current Iranian government has even come close to discrimination is there is a law that says Christians and Jews who are in the business of selling food and drink, must have a sign on their stores that say, "Aghaliyate Dini" which translates as "Religious Minority" without having to specifiy which one...this ONLY applies to businesses that sell food and drink, since Muslims are very picky about how the food is prepared, and if they feel it has not been prepared according to Islamic dietary laws, they can give the vendor a hard time...this was meant to protect both the vendor, and to put the consumer's mind at ease. Now if a non-Muslim owned a clothing store for example, they would not be obligated to put the sign on their store that says, "Religious Minority". I am only playing devil's advocate here...I don't like the idea of any sign on any store distinguishing any minority, and I myself am a convert to Christianity...but I think fairness is in order. My relatives just returned from Iran, and this whole thing about wearing a sign is total bullsh-t.

Brenda Schaffer Throws Every Possible Garbage At Armenians
Iran Forever replied to Hellektor's topic in Artsakh
You guys do realize Brenda Schaffer is an ISRAELI, right? Her sh-tty book "Borders and Brethren" was written partially to incite ethnic Azerbaijani unrest in Iran, and accomplish Israel's (and Azerbaijan's) goal of destroying Iran. If I may draw your attention to this Azeri website link, and I ask once you pull it up KEEP scrolling down, and you will a bunch of Azeri S.O.B.'s burning the Iranian flag in front of the Iranian Embassy in Baku: http://www.tinsohbeti.com/?p=118 Next look at the TRUE intentions of Azeris, in this drawing where TABRIZ, an IRANIAN city, is depicted as part of a GREATER AZERBAIJAN: (KEEP scrolling down until you see the illustration): http://www.tinsohbeti.com/?p=204#more-204 -
Even the word "Istanbul" itself is Greek from the Greek words "eis tin Polin" ("to the City")...in Greek a "p" followed by an "n" becomes "b" so Greek "eis tin Bolin" became "Turkish" Istanbul.

Pan-Turkism has shown its ugly face in many places including northern Cyprus.

Hi Zatonk Jan, is your Avatar picture that of the statue of an Armenian queen from old times, and if so, which one?

I can not for the life of me understand how any HUMAN BEING in good faith and conscience can DENY the Armenian Genocide! As for Turks, their contention that 1.5 million Armenians simply died of starvation is F--king RIDICULOUS...who are they fooling? Even if only a few Armenians did die of starvation instead of the sword of the Turks, why would any Armenian leave his home and land and simply march accross the country on foot in the dead of winter unless he was forced to? Those who died actually of starvation were forced into starvation, but the majority were brutally massacred and this is a known fact. Turkey shamelessly denies this crime and refuses to own up to it. Germans killed 6 million Jews, yet they owned up to it and accepted responsibility. But what can one expect from a country that was built on conquest, plundering, pillaging, sacking, taking someone else's land, and destroying indigenous cultures (Greek, Armenian, Kurdish etc.). A country that destroys Orthodox churches and monasteries in Northern Cyprus, the same way it destroyed Armenian churches and monasteries in Western Armenia (what is now "eastern Turkey") and Assyrian churches and monasteries in the Mardin and Midyat areas. A country that destroyed the Tombs of the Patriarchs in Istanbul (Constantinople) during the Istanbul riots, a society that knows nothing but violence...No wonder Turkey and Israel get along so well, both were built on conquest of someone else's land, and expulsion of the indigenous people. When Ataturk the Hun signed the "population exchange" agreement with the Greeks, he specifically promised that the Greeks of Eastern Thrace and Constantinople would NOT be included, and would be exempt from the population transfer to Greece...yet what did Turks do? Expel the Greeks of Eastern Thrace, destroying old Greek villages like Saranda Ekklesia ("Fourty Churches" in Greek...just one example out of hundreds). Then he ruthlessly convinced the French who had made Syria a French mandate to give them Hatay, a province of Syria where the ancient Christian city of Antioch is located (Antakya) and the old Syrian port of Iskenderun to TURKEY. Then he negotiated the Treaty of Kars with the Russians, over ARMENIAN land, without ever including the Armenians. He gave Ajaria province and its port city of Batumi to the Russians (whose inhabitants were Ajarians...Ajars are Muslim Georgians and in Turkey they are called "Laz") in exchange for ARMENIAN land in Kars province, and the Kars agreement ended up making large chunks of Armenian land part of "the modern Republic of Turkey". Today Turkey has the nerve to repeat the same REVISIONIST bullsh-t and REWRITE history to serve its nationalist agenda. Fortunately the civilized world knows the truth.

Byzantine Empire had both Greeks and Armenians...

OK dear Christian brothers (I am a convert to Old Calendar Greek Orthodox)...there is no reason to fight here...both the Armenian Apostolic Church (Gregorian) and Orthodox Church share Apostolic roots, share the Tradition of the Church Fathers and believe in the Nicean Creed. This is important...we share a common belief in the Trinity and in Holy Communion...now there are differences that are for our hierarchy to figure out...namely over whether the Armenian Church is Monophysitic or follows Chalcedonian theology, whether the Armenian Church accepts all Seven Ecumenical Councils, or only four out of the seven like the Egyptian Copts...but this should not be reason to fight...we are Christians first, and BOTH our churches, unlike Protestant churches, share Apostolic roots that go back to the Apostles...we both share custody of the Church of the Holy Sepulchre in Jerusalem (the Greek Orthodox Patriarchate maintains the right to bring out the Holy Fire, but has never claimed full ownership of the whole church). I belong to an Old Calendarist Greek Orthodox Synod that follows the same Julian Calendar as the Armenian Church, and we are not in communion with Constantinople. As for the Holy Fire, there is no way possible that the Greek Orthodox Patriarch can "smuggle" it in, since the Church is sealed by the Muslims (since Muslims are neutral when it comes to different Christian sects), and by the way, we Christians keep fighting with each other, which is why we had to agree to let the Muslims hold the keys to the Church of the Holy Sepulchre...very sad indeed...in the meantime, the Jews are Judaizing our Christian holy places in Jerusalem and elsewhere in the Holy Land. The Holy Fire is a mystery no one can explain. I am sad to see the fighting between the Georgian Orthodox Church and the Armenian Church as well...we are ALL Christians!

Was Seta or Seda an Armenian goddess before Christianity, or just an Armenian queen? I am very curious, since I have known many Armenian women named Seda or Seta.
