Arpa
I've only heard the term dziranakouyn on the internet through Eastern Armenian speakers.Eastern Armenians?** Where have you been. Don't let MosJan here you. Search the forum and see what we have spoken about "tsiran" and "apricot".You keep saying narinchakakakookookouyn. We will keep saying tsirani/ԾԻՐԱՆԻ and see who will get ahead.Narinchagagagoogoogouyn indeed. You may not have seen this. Any name of color in the so called Armeenian that ends with "guyn" is not a native Armenian word, it is a translation from that cursed langauge like "gahve-irengi/սրճագոյն/ սուրճի գոյն =ԹՈՒԽ" , "kul-irengi մոխրագոյն /մոխիրի գոյն =ԳՈՐՇ" etc. When did Armenians see the color of coffee to call that color "coffee color"? BTW, Raw coffee is not brown , it is green. http://www.thecoffeesite-s.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/04/green-coffee-beans.jpg** Iam not "eastern Armenian". Please allow me to take credit for having taught those "easterners" to please say "tsirani".I have an orange grove in the Ararat Plain. You want to buy it? Yervant1
Very Ugly looking, the colour looks like a washed up old clothes.
Zartonk
It's not so much the colors themselves as it is their combination. The design isn't bad, although the Nordic cross usually has it's "bottom" away from the flag pole.
Arpa
 Who are these clowns? They don’t even deserve a serious response except…Tsapik Tsapik TsiraniBefore anything they should learn the Armenian Language, that it is not a dialect of furkish. See # 77 above, where we said that any name of colors with a suffix of GOUYN is a direct translation from furkish.Tsrirana-GOUYN? Why is not just TSIRAN-I enough. Tsiran is the fruit and Tsirani is the Color. Just like in Latin Apricot is both the Fruit and Color. Why stop rhere. How about we call the other colors like spitakagouyn, kaputagouyn, karmragouyn…etc.Speaking of learning Armenian, they should have a little respect to the rest of us, after all the 2/3 of the Armenian Nation are diasporans who write in that “funny“ orthography.. Why is the whole thing written the leninian non-orthography?The design? Yes , of course we are a Nordic nation!http://www.diehardrecords.net/CAT-0/images/StickCross.gif
Arpa
In addition to knowing the Armenian Language, they should also learn some others.Look how they transliterated “brand” in Armenian “breyind”? Like in Bee aR EY eN and Dee. Arpa
Thank you Harut for the clarification. I had noticed that,. This flag thing is bird bra-I-nd. As it was said above .-As if we have solved all the problems, like war, poverty, corruption and emigration, we talk about such ephemeral subjects. This is known as sublimation when we talk about silly stuff and ignore the serious ones. When the country is infested with cults, people abandoning the Mother Church and the Country, we talk about how we spread Christianity from Ararat to Zion and Europe. Both idle talk. gamavor
Branding company suggests new flag for Armenia: http://www.behance.n...oncept)/6742535 http://behance.vo.llnwd.net/profiles23/2091477/projects/6742535/5ddce99e32d058e68149fa580cdc5451.png The concept is right the collors are close to what it should be but not exactly. The collors should be a bit more regal. Burgundi is allright and becoming in a way. Narinchaquin should be more intense. It would be easy to just reinstate Levon Lusignan flag as in my avatar:)
