women only do that until they get married. then it stops...........

Not true. I give my husband much gifts galore to this date. I am a natural giver myself; yet I am asking Amy not to overgive; but I am also an extensive giver myself and have been an overgiver always. But I see Amy that overgiving spoils men and then they take you for granted and thus I summed it up that it doesn't work. So do it, but do it without over overdoing it, do it with moderation; such as Socrates. Be cool. I see that you are also a very warm person as I am; but it doesn't pay. It's better to be cool as I see it. ;)

We were not talking about you specifically or any one person, but in general.

Azat; I know you were not talking to me specifically; but since I'm a married woman too, I thought I'll let you know that I am one of those women that are givers; because it's my character to be one, and I'm speaking thruthfully.

And Azat, it depends on the man and on the woman; some women are takers, some others are not. Some men on the other hand are takers and others are the opposite; they're like Ed, givers. :)

Basically; it depends on the person's character; if they're givers or not. Also, it depends on the individual husband or wife, and how much they love their spouse. I think if a person loves their spouse very much, they automatically become avid givers; to the point of spoiling their loving spouse or like I said; it's because of their individual characters to be giving persons.
