This year the AWFF (Armenian World Fighting Federation) will be having the first International NO HOLDS BARRED Team Tournament in Erevan (Yerevan) Armenia on April 14-15-16 2006. Top teams from around the world will challenge themselves for a cash prize of $50,000.00 USD in a 5 man Team Tournament (weight categories: 65kg-110kg) being held for 3 days. The tournament rules will be formatted the same way as the UFC with 2 coaches except there will be a 5 man fighting team. Weight divisions are as followed; 0-65 kg / 66-75 kg / 76-85 kg / 86-95 kg / 96-110 kg. The winning team will receive the grand cash prize of $50k. Teams will arrive on April 11th to Armenia Yeravan and will leave on April 18th . Each fighter will also receive $1000.00 upon arrival. Hotel and normal accommodations will be covered by the AWFF. At this time we are expecting 8 countries USA, Brazil, Sweden, Germany, Greece, Russia, Armenia and Mexico. We are still awaiting all confirmation from some of these countries on their fighters. We are still interested in other countries for future tournaments. So please contact AWFF or "Head Match Maker" Mr. Gokor Chivichyan. The information required will be; name of fighter, weight, photo, MMA record and most importantly - footage of fights. Information on fighters will be available soon.
