MosJan
Hello KGrigory and welcome to HyeForum. in old days in Armenian music bands we only used OB8 and Dx50 or dx70 , those war sampler synthesizers, but this time we use Kordg ow1 and YAmahas and many other synth. keyboards that have midi and you can import and save the sounds from different sources. so baying the keyboard that has a sounds will cost you way to much if you have a keyboard that's compatible , you can talk to many Armenian musicians to copy the sounds or the retimes that you like, i do not know haw much it wil bee. hayemyes
Well...I recently got a Roland E-14 Oriental. It is pretty good for armenian music, with all the oud, zurna, kanon. If u get any news, please post it here. thx
KGrigory
MosJan thanks for the info. hayemyes: I talked to an Armenian musician from LA and he said that in order to have Armenian accompinement you would have to write the rhythms yourself and play along with them. He uses a Korg ow1. Another alternative he said would be to find a keyboard that has built in 6/8 rhythms. hope this helps where did you get the Roland E-14 Oriental?I looked all over the net and those are only available in europe i think. hayemyes
I bought mine from a store in Canada, montreal. But apparently they only brought a couple of it, so once its finished, they said they're not gonna bring it again.
hayemyes
Another good one is the Solton ms series (ms-60 or ms-100) where u can create the beats. And for the voices, the best would be Roland D-50.
