About Friendship

I'd like to be the sort of friend

that you have been to me,

you have gladly given it to me;

 

I'd like to mean as much to you

each minute of the day,

As you have newly meant, new friend

of mine, to me along the way.

the wonderful things for you,

To wipe away the fog from out your skies

and make them only blue;

I often heard or read about,

And feel that I could rouse your soul

the way that mine you've stirred.

 

I'd like to give you back the joy

that you have given me,

Yet that were wishing you a need

Anahid, if only you could keep your creative juices running, and stop wasting your talents, getting over the compulsion to reapond to very son of a .... turk, biblically speaking; "casting your pearls at the swines"!!

Don't waste your time and talent responding to every turk and son of a ...., who have no interest in our welfare. And, as long as we are talking about our "welfare", please restrain yourself and abstain from responding to misanthropic, misogynic, miscreants and miscontents, the likes of Ara B. who has had nothing new to say in over twenty years.

Please allow me to respond to your wonderful poem with another.

However Ara B. is a well known Armenian writer, and since I am going to school and in the learning process myself, I can learn a lot from a veteran writer such as Ara.

Again, you are true to form. I think that I have you pegged to a "T." Ara B. is an Armenian treasure. It is the conservatives who are the "swines." Let Anahid discourse with whomever she pleases. Please reveal your "official papers" as to your appointment as the prefect for the "Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith."

I dont think all this talk is fair to Ara, I may not nessesery agree with him on some issues but he has my outmost respect, and lets stick with the topic at hand, nothing personal, it just dosent look or sounds right all talking about someone who is not involved here, especialy another member
