roger
it's A VIRTUAL MEMORIAL IN HOMAGE TO THE ARMENIAN VICTIMS of OTTOMAN EMPIRE (1915), and to reconstitute the families separated by exodus. This is the first time that a website of this type has been published. A map of Asia Minor, which can be found on the homepage, which is dated 1920 (Treaty of Sevres), shows the Armenia whose contours were outlined in 1918 by US President Woodrow WILSON. The idea is to allow Diaspora Armenians (over 6.1 million & 3.2 million in Armenia) to locate the birthplace of ancestors who disappeared during the Genocide, and to enter their names in a database. A second interactive operation allows people to view the names that have been entered, region by region, and make contact with a family from the same place but now living on the other side of the world; a promise for the family to eventually be reunited. Great website !!!

phantom22
It is unclear how to list your massacred ancestors at that website. I want to list my martyred ancestors, but don't know how.
Takoush
Yeah, I just checked it and phantom is right. Although my family's vilayet is not within the Wilsonian Armenia's border; but I want to list my martyred ancestors too and I don't know how. Although my family's vilayet is not within the Wilsonian Armenia's border; but I want to list my martyred ancestors too and I don't know how. It is hit and miss. My family also did not live in within the borders of Wilsonian Armenia, yet names are listed for the next city also outside the borders. If someone knows how to do this please explain it to us. Marseliatsi_M26
Sireli paregamnere, I don't understand why it doesn't work with you. First, you have to click on "Registration" and fill "Your email", "Your password", "Confirm your password", "Select your country" and click on "Submit". Then, you'll receive an email and you'll have to confirm your registration. Then, you'll have to "add a parent" and fill "Surname", "First name", "Birthplace", "Region" and click on "Submit". For example, click on Erzurum on the map and you"ll find my great-grand-father who was beheaded by the Turks : Toros Kasparian from Erzurum.
