DominO123
I really don't get that, how can judges, who in principle are meant to be neutral, be separated between Republicans and Democrats. I really don't get those in the South.

The supreme court up North is 'non-partisan' - I'm not sure if it holds true - but that's the intention.
phantom22
Traditionally each of the US parties has been a mosaic of beliefs, a coalition of different interest groups. Therefore, an adherent to either party after being confirmed to the Supreme Court sometimes surprises both their suppporters and detractors. We have had members of each party vote independently of the beliefs of their respective parties on individual issues. As for the new nominee, Miers, not much is known except that she has given money to democrats.

A judge is supposed to be on the side that is "right" style_images/master/snapback.png it is the interpretation of the word "right" that employs a billion and one lawyers and judges. armjan
You're watching way too much Fox. style_images/master/snapback.png i consider myself conservative, and i really can't take the spin that fox publisizes sometimes. the questions the news casters on fox ask are worded as to confirm the unconfirmed rather than question the obvious. oh and that guy heraldo, he is such a wanna be. Its the cases that impact Corporate law and processes that take prescedence...
