armjan Posted May 6, 2005 Report Share Posted May 6, 2005 (edited) you CAN vote multiple times; they seem to track based on cookies In order to vote again, after you have voted, close your Microsoft Internet Explorer (assuming most people use IE) & launch it again, go to Tools in the menu bar & select Internet Options... then click on the Delete Cookies... button & click OK when asked for confirmation. Go to the URL below & vote YES and repeat this process as long as you like. http://www.network54.com/Votelet/29462 You can see incremental changes in the percentages of the YES vote every time you vote again... So the people who came-up with it are smart...I'm sure they don't care of the results and the results will not be used anywhere. They just know that such a topic will generate traffic and income for them. C'mon, this doesn't mean anything, and we certainly should be encouraging this type of behaviour. Obviously the person who created the poll wanted to have a certain outcome and having control of the data, means he can do whatever he wants, ie.the other side has gained a few million votes just recently. Simply impossible to trust this poll. Very busy sites on the net barely recieve so much traffic a day (except yahoo, or google and the like).
