I just learned that the Gumretsis have nicknamed the building Կուկուռուզ Երիտասարդական Պալատ, Youth Palace http://www.yerphi.am/pictures/pal.jpg Երիտասարդական Պալատ, Youth Palace is its official name... Kukuruz has always been the nickname of the building, this is not a new thing. The building is actually being torn down to become a 5-star hotel, probably a popular franchise such as Sheraton or Hilton.
