Թուրքիայում մարդկային բանականությանը հակառակ հերթական դեպքն է գրանցվել: Ինչպես տեղեկացնում է թուրքական «Միլիյեթ» պարբերականը, ընդդիմադիր քեմալական «Ժողովրդա-հանրապետական» կուսակցությունից պատգամավոր Օքթայ Էքշին հարցում է ուղղել Թուրքիայի կրթության նախարար Օմեր Դինչերին` կապված «հայկական զինանշանի նման արձանի» ճակատագրի վերաբերյալ: «Դումլուփընար» համալսարանի առջև Աթանաս Քարաչոբանի հեղինակած արծվի և առյուծի` սպիտակ մարմարից արձանները թուրքերը նմանեցրել էին Հայաստանի Հանրապետության զինանշանին ու պահանջել հեռացնել դրանք: Դիմումներ ստանալուց հետո կրթության նախարարությունը որոշել էր դրանք հեռացնել: Սակայն այդ որոշումն իր հերթին բերել է դժգոհության, քանի որ, ըստ տարածված տեղեկությունների, արձանը, բացի որոշակի նմանությունից, ոչ մի կապ չուներ ՀՀ զինանշանի հետ: Հետաքրքիր է, որ արձանների հեղինակ Աթանաս Քարաչոբանը, ով Թուրքիայում ճանաչված քանդակագործ է, նույն վայրում տեղադրել է նաև Աթաթուրքի և նրա զինակիցների արձանախումբը: Այս կապակցությամբ ընդդիմադիր խորհրդարանականը դիմել է նախարարին` պարզելու, թե ինչպես են վարվել «հայկական» արձանների հետ: HayNews.am
