---------------------------------- Of course there are idots in Armenia too, but I think really there are more intellectuals there, because in the past, in every village they constructed first a church and just after a school, with the money of the village people. When my mother was deported in Konya, she had learnt French at school, she was only 13 years old. At the same time, the Turks went only to koranic school. My grand mother had been to school until 16 years old, I have her photo with the professors who were priests. When the parents are cultivated, the children are too.

One week before april 24, 1915, several writers were invited in the house of Roupen Sevag. Hagop Oshagan tells how they spent the evening There was Varujan, Theotig and his wife, Dikran Cheguryan and also Diran cherakyan "Indra" he was from Lebanon I think, as he had writen poems about cedar trees, and another poem "Le monde intérieur" I don't know if it is translated in English. Has anybody some poems from him ?

In old armenian calendar there was 13th month from 6th to 10th august, that extra month lasted only 5 days ( 6 days on leap years). It was called "Aveliats".

On August 6th, we have read in our "armenews" forum an e-mail from Baskin Oran to Dennis Papazian, in which he contests the word G for the armenian genocide. So, several Armenian surfers ask what was Dennis Papazian's reply to that e-mail. I looked for it, but I did not find it nowhere. Can anybody copy here that reply from Dennis Papazian or write to me where I can write to ask to him ? Thank you.

[Where do you want to live ... Why nobody want to come in France ? I was born here, I don't want to go elwsewhere. In Armenia the winters are too cold. In Canada too. Lebanon would be the bast place to live, but there is always war. Alas.

Hi, My grandaughter is looking for a placement in USA. At present she's in a business school in Paris. Next year she would like to go to USA for a placement in marketing or communication. This internship will last 6 month minimum. (beginning:april 2008) Does your firm take French intern in these fields or do you have any advice ? Thank you for your reply. Louise
