    Take Action Now

I am sorry as I am throwing this post into the conversation out of the blue but I cannot abtain myself anymore. This is a little confusing, at best. Armenians need justifications to retake their own ancestral territories, and to create a buffer zone, again created from more Armenian territory? Justifications? Please, look. Please "learn" from the cancer that shares a border with you. They occupied the territory of a sovereign nation and they didn't gave a damn about that I(nternational) C(ommunity). Or the IC didn't gave a damn about their occupation? Does a t*rk's life has a greater value than that of an Armenian? Does it? It looks like it does, and indirectly, Armenians confirm this. Why you should always behave like the losing side? Aren't you tired of that? No negotiations. No centimeter of land. Your brothers, fathers, sons fought for every square inch of land (did they not?), an still, there is the shocking thought of giving that land back, for what? For "friendly" neighbour relations? Have you forgotten so quickly to whom you share a border with? Animals don't understand reason. Respect is reserved for friends. Do you have friends? Then keep it for them, otherwise keep it for yourself, for your family. Those animals want to have "friendly relations" only if you are resting under 2 meters of dirt. History keeps repeating itself... The tatar animals will not stop. Those animals (act, behave, "think") should be satisfied as Armenia is not claiming her rightfull land that stretches till the Caspian Sea. Or maybe it should. Armenia will renounce her claims on Baku when Van will be a popular destination in Armenia. If the infected bird managed to maintain her occupation of the beautiful Greek island, then why wouldn't Armenia be able to maintain what is her rightful territory? You have a powerfull diaspora, and you need it as your own political leaders are forgetting their purpose. Use it wisely. You have arrived this far... please, in the name of reason, do not give up, do not let the land that is soaked in Armenian blood be so easily discarded. If you want Ani, claim Sebaste, if you want Sebaste claim Nicomidea... Remind your neighbours that an "azeri" nation did not exist before WWI... Muriti in picioare? Sau traiti in genunchi? Do you prefer to die on your feet? Or live on your knees?
  2. As the saying goes: "Մէկ գիժ քար գցեց հորը, քառասուն խելօք չկարողացան հանել"
  3. My previous post was intended as an allusion to the t*rkish megalomania and anti-Armenian propaganda; also when reffering to history there is no such term as a "Christian t*rk" but rather t*rkified Christians. I thought those were pretty clear. @neko Please do abstain yourself from dirtying these threads with off-topic posts and generalisations that betray your aloofness and ignorance. They only strenghten what I say about you. And just FYI we Romanians don't share your hobbies, the ones you just revealed. And sorry that I also do not share your knowledge about the t*rkish "cradle of civilisation" . I guess you are an 'expert' in alternative history. Also the arguments you bring to support your point of view, especially the ones in this thread are...very... meaningful, or rather crappy-full. As seen above there are plenty of t*rkish t*rks ready to return the t*urkish a$$-kissing attitude that you so proudly expose. A t*rk supporting a t*rk.
  4. Of course it's not. That is probably because...Armenians are just mislead turks who were possessed by the spirits of the extinct Armenians in thinking that they are...well...Armenians. What will be the next great discovery? The churches from Ani were built by turks when they were buddhists and "technically" they were originally conceived as mosques when turks were Christians. Of course, this part of history is secretly covered by the malefic 'Armenian Council' bent on world domination. I really wonder what kind of sick society could produce an excrement such as this 'neko' bent on pi$$ing in all decent threads.
  5. Then you are certainly living in the future, or rather your own version of future.
  6. The asterisks were meant to prevent infecting this forum with t*rkish words. And those who lost Constantionple will someday reclaim it. We all have lost it. We all will reclaim it.
  7. The turk/tatars are doing everything in their power to trivialize the meaning of the word genocide. So, when a turk/tatar dies or if someone takes a p*ss on a turk/tatar "building" we all hear tales about poor "unarmed", "defenseless","inocent" turks/tatars that were "genocided".
  8. Don't worry, because the biggest harm has already been done to the city of Constantinople. It's already occupied/inhabited by turks. No amount of oil tankers could possibly do more harm than that.
  9. Obviously it was. The Crusades were an important help for the Orthodox Christians at the beginning, but after a time they had begun to outlive their usefulness and were doing more harm than good. You either: 1.) Don't have Basic English training and thus don't know the meaning of some of the words and verbal constructions you employ. 2.) Are living in "neko world". When taken into account your accusation of certain individuals living in "their own fantasy world", I can say that they(we) are not like you. "The thief thinks that all are like himself." 3.) Are oblivious to the past and current situation in the land between the Aegean Sea and the Caspian lake. 4.) All the above. Are you trying to raise awarness of the Western-European double standards that continue to a lesser extent today? The English, at least at the political level are by far the most capable in sacrificing fellow Christians to further their own selfish interests. Also your distortion of my original text clearly shows the general blakout condition in which you reside. You are in complete darkness. Dark as in the "Dark Ages". Your distortion has no validity whatsoever, Armenians didn't "Crusade" in Western Europe, it was the other way around. Առաջ մտածիր, յետոյ խոսիր. First think, then speak. But you are more like a madman that claims to be borned on Mars. There is no point in proving him wrong. It is rather amazing how the likes of that Dominican monk, after just passing through the "highly progressive" period known as the Dark Ages will later start another "highly progressive" period known as the Inquisition. His pamphlet appears more like an anecdote to draw the attention of his king that Armenians too, know how to treat court politics, not only the Europeans. There is no thing that the Armenians did, are doing, or will do that can even come close to the betrayal of the West towards their Orthodox "brothers" that culminated with the sack of Constantinople in the 13th of April, 1204. That betrayal still continues even today under a mask of hypocrisy. This perfectly justifies my question "Did Armenians learned from their past mistakes?". Trust is for those who earn it. Another proof of your ignorant stupidy that manifests itself in out-of-place quotes. What is the purpose of this quote? Did the Armenians taught Western-Europeans how to backstabb each-others? I am afraid they already knew that. They had their share of that "experience". The disgusting feature found in Armenian court politics was present in all over the known world at that time. You are doing nothing else but throwing with dirt at Armenian History. You behave like one of those turks that seeks to "prove" that Armenians are the only responsable for the Genocide commited against them. I pity you and the ignorance in which you live. The rest of your comments are irrelevant to the current dicussion and only prove that altough you have nothing to say you keep saying it. I can quote from the Scottish Academic Press too. But I would rather quote when necessary.
  10. It would be very inspiring if the winner(s) of the contest decide to include the slogan "The Armenians only salvation lies in their unity" in their work of art. Especially since the monument will be "not far from the city center".
  11. Actually, no. Of what use could have they been to the Armenians when their main concern was not fighting for the Christian faith but fighting for their own interests and "glory" (money and power). Most of the Western Crusaders were more busy backstabbing each other and betraying Orthodox Christians than acting in unison against a common enemy. History stands proof. History helps us to learn from our past mistakes. Did Armenians learned from their past mistakes? The statement above is still valid, only the Pope is not so keen in bothering us so often. If it weren't for the divided nature of the Orthodox Church (7 Christmases, 8 Easters and 9 different calendars etc) we, Orthodox Christians could ask for the same. Actually, we are offering them the chance to join us, only that with soo many offers, the "poor" Catholics have a lot of trouble deciding who are the "real" us. Is the Orthodox Clergy so busy with their prayers that they cannot see this abyss that is separating Orthodox Churches from one another? Exactly! What's the point in creating something when you don't have the means to protect it? The process of making crosses and Khachkars (figuratively speaking) needs not to be stopped, the focus however, should be in making crosses with a hilt.
  12. Arpa, your previous statement regarding the wrong-placement of this article is, at the very least, justifiable. "Articles" like this do not deserve to be placed in other threads other than humor-related ones. I consider commenting on such garbage as time-consuming and useless. Nevertheless... Often ignored, the Balkan turks were the authors of an enormous social strife among the nations of the balkans that were subjected, repeatedly, to a policy of turkification and islamization that had various stages of intensity. This policy planted the seeds of war between those individuals (widely known as traitors) who embraced islam and the turkish "culture", and the oppresed majority that, altough endured unspoken humiliation and cruelty, has chosen to maintain (defend) their original culture and Christian religion. When the decimated nations of the Balkans found a chance to take revenge for several centuries of existence as nothing more than a piece of s#it they have used that chance. Those turks, as all other humans (if you consider them as such) have to assume responsability for their past deeds. If a group of turkish hysterical historians want to "justify" the Armenian Genocide by showing the "attrocities" commited against the Balkan turks (another artificial term), they should further analyse the causes of that "ethnic cleansing campaign" against the above mentioned turks. But they (turks) cannot see the "bigger picture" because by doing that they all come to the same conclusion: the turkish (former and actual) presence in the Balkans and Middle East was/is the root of all evil. They have their hands in every conflict from the Adriatic Sea to the Caspian Lake since they began to corrupt the above mentioned territories with their presence. Not a pleasant history, if I do say so myself. Nowadays for example, the turkish pockets can "buy" history equivalent of several hundreds of "Western academicians" If we take turkish "sources" as reliable we would come to the conclusion that for every Armenian that lived in the former Ottoman Empire there were ten times that number of muslim turks killed (by Armenians). The above quote is equivalent with "...estimated that 3-4 millions muslim turks were killed in three cities alone."
  13. @zurd-erer Listen here turk. This is the last post in which I will take notice of your presence. From this point on I will reffer to your presence as a "null presence" (unavailable, unassigned, unknown, or inapplicable) First. I am quit fed up with turks like you who employ words without knowing their meaning. Every anti-turk person is considered a fascist. There is no nation on this goddam world that is more fascist than your "nation". If you want to know how a fascist behaves, take a look at your fellow citizens. Evidence is all around you. I will cease to "discuss" with you such things because you lack the ability to comprehend them and that is like talking to a wall. May all the walls excuse me from comparing them with an idiotic turk. You have proven yourself to be one. Second. I am fed up with turks like you who defend the ever unarmed bosnians/turks from all over the world. If there is ever an incident involving turks/tatars/bosnians they are always, and I mean always, unarmed. Have you even been to Bosnia to see what your "unarmed" bosnians did to the Serbian population? The bosnians started the almost endless wave of violence against the serbian population, but when they realise that by playing with fire you might actually burn, we begin to hear tales abut "poor unarmed little bosnians". If you seed war you will reap war. You turk/tatar/bosnians seem unable to understand that. What, for God's sake are they (we) supposed to do in the face of savage warmonger barbarians who want to bash your skull to the nearest wall just because you are different? Should they (we) turn the other cheek? They(we) have run out of cheeks. Even if we are Christians, that doesn't mean we should let other nations with less moral values slaughter us and do nothing about it. How can we practice our faith in the face of endless violence? And when we defend ourselves, we are the aggressors! This is a twisted world in which we live in. The same happened in tatarland, East of Armenia. The tatars brutally slaughtered Armenians who were gathering in peacefull demonstrations all over tatarland. But when Armenians show those tatars that they aren't some sheeps who wait patiently to be slaughtered we all hear tales about the "unarmed poor little tatars" (see Karabakh). I am fed up this kind of pro-turkish propaganda. If you seed war you will reap war Turks have been planting the seeds of war from over a millenia so they will have a rich "harvest". Admit your mistakes and take responsability for them! This is the least you can do, but you seem incapable of doing it. Third. My Serbian friend is from Vojvodina. That's where most of the Serbian population (that has had conflicts with turkish allies in the past) was relocated. Unlike you,h e is very documented about the attrocities commited against the Serbian population before the war began. He is not a cetnik and you don't even know what beeing a "cetnik" means in the first place. Because bosnians were busy butchering Serbians in the past, they shouldn't be surprised when they are "awarded" for their bloodlust. One last thing. Why do you think the word "turk" is an insult? Because this reflects their past barbaric behaviour. We have a million reasons for hating your barbaric civilisation. And you still continue to give us further reasons. This is very important. So don't be surprised when you are insulted because we have strong arguments to back up our every word. Something you aren't able to do. This explains the fabrication of history which keeps every turk occupied these days. You need arguments to, but when they don't exist you "buy" them. @neko Actually, he was reffering to you. Your past posts qualify you as one.
  14. Thank you Edward. These are the exact words of my Serbian friend that I have translated according to his own directions. Нема сврхе расправљати се са турчином зато што нико од вас неће постићи ништа. Тиме само губиш своје време. Турчин је само турчин,шта ту да се каже. Можеш да се расправљаш са њим а ништа постићи тиме.
  15. Dear GevorgP, I am writing this post from the computer of a Serbian friend of mine. He has the following message for you: "Don't argue with a turk because neither of you will get something in the process. You are just wasting your time. A turk is just a turk. You can argue with him for a long time. That won't change anything". Seeing as this zurderer is nothing but the "forum's idiot" you would do well to avoid wasting your time with him.
  16. You are right. How can Karabakh be given to the Armenians when it has...1000? ..no.. 2000? ..no.. hell! 5000 years of turkish civilisation! The situation in Karabakh clearly showed that freedom does not come without sacrifice. Karabakh is under Armenian control now, and if RoA doesn't behave like the losing side it will remain that way. Nobody will give your lands back if you aren't prepared to fight and die for them. Unfortunately, the Kurds are following the turkish policy of fabricating history and they want to establish themselves as the native population of South-Western historical Armenia. They are using the same fake history in claiming Assyrian lands to the south. Seems nothing is truly "new" under the sun. But, if Kurds were pro-turkish in the past, nowadays this is not the case. Armenians would be wise to use this to their own advantage. @neko With every post you make, you prove that you have nothing to say but keep repeating it. You sound like a 12 year old. Sorry, a 10 year old because a 12 year old can posses a higher intelectual capacity than you. If you carefully examine other posts (which you seem unable to do), you would see that everything is backed up by at least an argument. You are busy throwing empty words without any arguments whatsoever and lack any ability to "properly disagree". Furthermore you are so stupid that you take an insult (the word turk) as a badge of honor. Please do come and make a visit to the Balkans and see for yourself what happens when you call someone a "turk". Just don't cry when your jaw is broken. This perfectly shows that you have no knowledge of the current situation of how things are, at least in the Balkans and Middle East. Yet you are busy saying nothing. You are an affront to Europe and only confirm that the turk/tatar virus is very potent because it infects people quite fast. Even if you have english citizenship, you are nothing but a turk/tatar imigrant. And since you already are a turk/tatar (you think like one), learning the turkish language is only a consequence. You are right. Before the ascension to the EU we Romanians were Africans and didn't have the right to express our opinion because we are nothing but mindless creatures. We do not deserve to have European citizenship and thus be "equal" to the Englismen. They are more "equal" than the rest of us. How do we even dare? We are not part of Europe, and since we are all mentally instable, we cannot decide what is good for us or what is bad. We should let the English decide that because they are superior, as you say, and altough they are not fully aware of the current problems from the Balkans/Middle East they are fit to express their opinions and thus "rule the world". I am not telling the Europeans what they should/shouldn't do. I am just expressing my point of view and dissatisfaction with some foreign policies that afect us all. Also, I did not sign on this forum to talk about my nation's problems. Yes, we have our problems. You can PM me if you want to discuss those. I doubt you can bring a valid argument to sustain your "scummy" accusations. For every argument you bring against my country I can responde with three more against your own country. The problem is you have no clue what an argument is in the first place. Just pre-conceived ideas and plain old stupidity. Be assured that we know our place. Our place is defending our common values and cultural heritage from scum like you. Just a turk/tatar with English citizenship. You will find plenty of like-minded individuals like you in turkey/tatarland. Do you consider yourself European? Just because you live in England? You would do well to learn that beeing European has more to do with one's mentality and reasoning than actually "live" in the traditional borders of Europe. That's why turks cannot join the EU, they will never be "European". This can be seen perfectly from their behaviour, actions and mentality. I also know a few things about England: http://catholiclondoner.blogspot.com/2006/...ushed-post.html http://www.westernresistance.com/blog/archives/003336.html This is what Europe is busy defending these days. I hope one of those muslims kill you before you convert to Islam. If you didn't already. If that's the case, I hope that brain-cancer of yours will spread and claim your pathetic life. You have nothing better to do than making 2 cent posts without any relevance to the original subject."Nice life". I guess is not easy beeing as stupid as you are. Analyze your own posts to see the full extent of your stupidity. Don't you "think" a little before you post? Or posting and s#itting is the same to you?
  17. Yes, you are right. When turks occupied Crimea, and when they crossed the Danube and Nile rivers they were there to stay. Then it is useles to try to confront them. Hence the modern European attitude towards them. Just like Chamberlain and Daladier before WWII tried to "please" Germany nowadays everybody tries to "please" turkey. I suggest the Armenians bow before the "greatness" of the turks and learn the turkish language because resistance is futile. Armenians, Greeks, Bulgarians, Romanians etc will be all eradicated. I am , of course, sarcastic. And I am not trying to "stir the pot". I am just saying that there are others that will come into conflict with turks and their allies. That's all. And I am quite interested about the preservation of Christian monuments and curches in the Middle East and Caucasian area. Seems that most of them are all but extinct. You would do well to learn that long gone are the times when turks were enslaving Armenians and thus, you were all living toghter. What are you? Some kind of pro-turkish Armenian propagandist? Are you trying to infuse Armenians with pessimism? You are showing again that the biggest threat is not the person on the other side of the barricade, but the mentality on our side. You exhibit the same reasoning I saw once on a Jewish Armenian that was saying something along the lines "we should all try to get along with turks and see things their way, because that is the future". Probably he was reffering to the fact that the turks are some of the biggest allies of the state of Israel. I bear no resentment towards Israelians in general, but please tell me, are you , perhaps, of Jewish descent? I am asking myself the same question every day. What are they afraid of? @Hosank Hello to you to. I agree with what you are saying, altough I do not think Turkey has any chances of joining the European Union anytime soon. There are still some persons who seem to care about the traditional values and cultural heritage of Europe. Too bad they limit themselves to the "traditional" borders of Europe. Until these persons are taken out of the equation, turkey will not join the EU. I dont' think Romanian and Armenian interests will ever collide.
  18. There should be more Armenians like you. When talking about this kind of work, too much is never enough. How can we be not aware when their propaganda has no limits? If extra-terestrial beeing exist, following their contact with humanity, they would certainly find about their lies to. Blind are those who do not want to see and not those who do not have eyes. Sorry, but I do not want my presence and posts on this forum to be a “surprise“ for anyone. I think my reasoning and mentality is a direct consequence of their past deeds. Seems turks/tatars are not aware that their actions will have negative consequences regarding their nations The problem with some European nations is that they have acces to a “Christianity button”. When the need arises they can turn that button off and stop beeing Christians. Then they can ally with their turkic islamic friends and “punish” their “real” enemies, meaning the Orthodox nations of the world. See the artificial state of Bosnia and Herzegovina where Catholics and muslims succesfully oppose Orthodox Christians. It seems to me that, at least, the English nation has some “hard-coded” hate for us. Armenians aren’t the only ones to have suffered because of those Anglo-Saxons you mention. You are, of course, aware of this, as I can clearly see. I am also aware of the actions of the “Christ-killer West” you also mention. Seems that “genocidals attract” indeed.
  19. Dear Arpa, Shenorhagal em, thank you, mulţumesc! I have browsed this forum to gain a better understanding on certain subjects and found out that, at least at the linguistical level you are a force to be reckoned with. As such, you know the meaning of greeting someone in their own language, showing great wisdom in the process. I will try to partially respond to some of your questions below. Romanian history. There is a plethora of information regarding Vlad the Impaler, but there are also alot of lies about him. If you really want I can share to you some of the particularities of his battles aginst turks. How he slaughtered them like the mindless cattle they are. We had many military confrontations with turks, in which we were always in numerical inferiority but managed to win most of the time. We weren't called "The gates of Christianity" for nothing. But even as so, no one really wanted us to became to powerful so we could better fight the turkic invader. Instead, other nations tried to profit from our wars with the turks so that they could occupy our lands instead. Does this seems familiar? We Romanians are latins and are direct descendant of the latinized daco-getians which were the most important branch of the larger Thracian group inhabiting the Balkans north of Greece two millenia ago. We are proud of beeing the only Orthodox Latin nation in the world. Momentarily, at least, I cannot say that I represent the "vast majority". Suffice to say that I am just an individual from an increasing number of others that seeks to learn from history and prevent making past mistakes again. This includes confronting the increasing threat represented by the turks and repaying our centuries old debts to the turks. We have a lot of debts to repay. We are, in one way or another, guilty for the current behaviour of turks, because we let them get this far. They are arrogant because they are accustomed to get what they want, when they want, from who they want. But we also share that guilt with others. Alone, I may be close to nothing, just flesh and bones, simple and weak, dust in the wind. But togheter... we share a common goal...Why should we always turn the other cheek? I am afraid we have run out of cheeks. We will return something sharper instead. The turko-European affair. In our times is a common sight for a young girl to accept the company of an older (even sick/ill) man to rip him of his valuables. Altough Europe is no young girl, the "love-affair" with "the sick man of Europe", teoretically at least, should have been nothing to worry about. The problem is that Europe sucks the turkish genital organ without getting something valuable out of it. Of course, there are nations that love this kind of activity, just for the fun of it. Let's be serious...the turks don't belong here, as they have proved this time and time again, manifesting their barbaric behaviour just on the borders of true civilisation. Sooner or later all nations will realise that. It is of my concern to make them realise that sooner, so we shouldn't make any more mistakes. I(we) will do my(our) part. Will you do yours? Romanian foreign policy and diplomacy. After the fall of communism in Romania, there has been a stedy flow of failures and bad steps. A recent gathering of political analysts concluded that the best thing Romania has done in the last year considering foreign diplomacy was that "It could have been worst". Some may go as even far as claiming that if this situation continues, it will be irreparable. Those things are said in a time where the romanian government (government and not its citizens) seek strong relations with America and turkey. While having good relations with the Americans might not be bad, seeking to establish good relations with turkey by damaging centuries old relations with others is certainly not the way to go. We are heading towards a wall. Until we hit that wall and realise it actually hurts, we will continue our regress. But those are our problems and you need not concern yourself with them. Only we, Romanians, can repair them. Turks and their neighbours. We are all aware indeed of the fact that turks are not loved by any of their neighbours. At least here in the Balkans, with the exception of muslim Bosnians (there are three ethnic groups in Bosnia: Catholic Croatians, Orthodox Serbs and turkified serbian muslims), every nation harbors, in one way or another, a great hostility towards them. Even the Albanians did, before they were islamizied. The national hero of the Albanians died fighting the turks, and also the turks are the reason why their flag is red. But the vast majority of the Albanians behave like turks attacking everything different from their own culture. What they did and stil do in Kosovo against Orthodox Christians further strenghtens my claim that they are nothing but turks that identify as Albanians. Following these lines I can say that no nation from the Balkans with the possible exception of muslim bosnians and muslim albanians will offer a helping hand to the turks when they will need it the most. The alliance against the turks that you are suggesting is something inevitable and is only a matter of time before we will all focus on our common enemy. I, personally, exhibit a certain level of eagerness toward that day which may not be that far away. But until then, there are several impediments. One of them beeing a military alliance that has lost her original purpose. Until Europeans realize that they shouldn't be the "tool" of other so-called nations, they(we) will continue to make stupid decisions on political level. Europe will realize that it has its own interests, which will manifest also in a European military organisation. What will we do with the turks? Well, that is quite simple. We will do the same things that we were subjected to not to long ago. What goes around comes around. What goes up must come down. We will return the "hospitality" they showed to us. Probably the land of "Moongolia" as you suggest might be a good place to re-locate them. Israelians and Armenians. I must confess that I am appaled of the current stance the Israeli Government has taken towards the Armenian Genocide. They should have been the first to recognize the Genocide, but it seems we live in a "wicked" world. Probably Raphael Lemkin would have been very surprised seeing how modern-day Israelians treat the Armenians regarding the Genocide subject. Probably the Armenians (especialy the large Armenian diaspora) should be more aggresive in confronting those who betray them. I would also like to share my opinion regarding the state of Caucasian Albania. Seems that its past presence and the territories it was composed of seem rather "conveniant" to the tatars. Probably in the end, those tatars will finish their long search by finally finding those "unknown" ancestors and launch a new theory in which they will be some kind of "lost tribe" of Armenians, and thus are able to lay claim to the Armenian land that they currently live on. Currently. I wouldn't be surprised if that will be the case. Note that with the above statement I am trying to be a little sarcastic and do not want to insult the Armenians in any way by linking them with tose tatars.
  20. Thank you Sako! I think you are perfect aware that there are quite a few views regarding turkish barbarism. The day you mention may be sooner than you think. Altough overconfidence is certainly a flaw in someone's reasoning. Regarding Armenians from Romania I plan to make one of these days a short thread about their millena old presence in Romania. Yes, a millenia. Did you know that? After the second world war there were more than 40.000 of Armenians living in Romania but the communism regime didn't spare them of its attrocities and armenian schools wer shut one after another. That is when they began living our country seeking a better life elsewhere. After the fall of communism in Romania in the year 1989 a steady cultural but also political revival began to manifest itself. In 1992 there were 1957 Armenian living in Romania. Since the fall of communism the populaton of Romania has slowly decreased and that includes the Armenian population also. In 2002 there were about 1,780 Armenians. From that number, about 1400 Orthodox Armenians live in Bucureşti or Constanţa. The others are Catholic Armenians and live in the city of Cluj-Napoca. I have a small map that shows the city of Cluj-Napoca on the north-west, the city of Bucureşti in the south and the city of Constanţa in the south-east. They have a cultural and political organisation that is very active. Also we are very proud of the many personalities our Armenian minority have provided us. There is even an Armenian poet and a literary critic that are beeing studied in high-school. The poet Dan Barbilian is considered to be extremely "hard" meaning that you have to posess a certain level of intelectual capacity to comprehend his works. Probably because he was a mathematician also.
  21. I am sure they will because now that turks sit confortably on stolen lands, they want just to be friends with everyone. A stupid example for a likewise individual for a better understanding of the issue. If you stole a car, wouldn't you want to be friends with the previous owner and keep the car? If that fails wouldn't you try to kill the previous owner? The turks are not aware that they failed to pay the consequences of their past deeds. It is never too late. Also before Bulgarians, Edirne was a Roman city inhabited by Greeks built over a previous Thracian settlement. Since the Thracians are no more and the Bulgarians aren't descendands of Thracians, the first nation that can claim the city is the Greek one. Jolly good! Then it is just a matter of removing the authority of your stupid government from those lands. I suggest you pick up an english dictionary (if you know what a dictionary is) and check what certain words mean like "occupation", "hypocrite", "warmonger". Also I wouldn't visit that ...that...THING which you call turkey even if you pay me to. I do not think there is a more hypocrite nation on Earth than the turkish one. That is, of course if turks can be considered a nation. Just look at a picture of a mongolian and your image in the mirror. If you see no similarity that's because at a certain point in history someone from your family decided that by turkifying themselves and betraying their nation, they can profit the most. We are warmongers? Over half a millenia we ferociously defended our land from the turkish barbarians that sought to ensalve and destroy us. Some of the few things they excel at. Seems that the turk in you just wants to manifest his presence Also it appears that turkey is just a bitch working for the highest bidders. It won't take long before the nations of the world realise that we do not need a bitch nation. Currently, we are nothing to worry about. I am also very simple and weak. Easy prey. However, do you even know what a fascist is? You will learn that vengeance is a very strong sentiment, perhaps the most. You do not posses enough fingers to count the nations that can, and will take revenge on your civilisation. They are waiting just for the right moment. Also, when our ancestors were fighting wave after wave of invaders, the turks were living in caves copulating with sheeps which were probably stolen from their Chinese neighbours. First, I didn't imply so, because you do not necessarily have to work as a prostitute to be one. Second, that is one of the most stupid jokes I have ever heard. Seems that turks are fleeing turkey like scared rats because they do not want to die of inanition, yet you imply Romanians go there to work. I am sure you can show me a turkish agency that has statistics regarding the 3 million Romanians that "work" in turkey. That will be the day, when Romanians will go to turkey to work. Perhaps there are some Romanians in that Frankenstein country of yours. They are specialized in making profits from stupid peoples. And since Europe has above averge citizens regarding intelectual level, why not make a profit where there are plenty of dumb people like yourself?
  22. Thank you for the insight HyeFedayis. I must confess that I was dimly aware of an eventual turkish invasion in Armenia. Hopefully we will see other nations blocking the interest of the turks, not only russians. What I didn't know was that Ukrainians fought on the tatar side. Since we Romanians have territorial disputes with Ukraine, it is clearly on which side we will eventually land. But in a world where money can buy goverments and the diplomacy conducted by a goverment may overwrite the general will of its citizens I am inclined to say that it will take some time until other nations will find that the presence of turkey is nothing more but a destabilizing factor in the Balkans/Middle East. Unity and faith.
  23. I congratulate the creation of this thread which I think will hold the biggest and most obvious Armenian contributions, because , as previously stated by Hellector, Armenians have had contributions to wherever they were present on many topics, included, but not limited to cultural, architectural and economical achievements, which are the most obvious. I think that the memebers on this forums are not fully aware to the economic potential the Armenians constituted several centuries ago, especially in the previous romanian states of Moldavia , Wallachia and Transylvania. Especially, but not only there. I am quite interested if you, as Armenians are aware that there are towns in Romania which were founded by Armenians and are centuries old. I will make later a thread regarding the Armenian achievements in the lands which constitute modern day Romania. I think you will be surprised by what I will say. Regarding the "manufacturing of history" process in which turkey and the tatars north of the Arax river are engaged I will like to say that we shouldn't be surprised by their actions. Because this endless search of their "ancestors" is only a tool with which they can "legally" justify the occupation of lands belonging to nations far more older than their own. But how can you prove something that isn't true in the first place? With money, of course. Maybe they can "buy" their ancestors. Did you know there is even a theory that the Pelasgians were related to turks? This way they can justify the occupation of Greek land. Did you know there is a turkish theory that the Thracians were related to turks? This way they can justify the former (and possibly future?) occupation of the Balkans. This last theory will make me nothing but a latinized turk. Did you know there are turkish theories that the inidgenous population of America are related to turkic tribes? This way they can probably claim the whole land of north America. Probably after a few years we will hear that the French, Anglo-Saxons and Chinese are also of turkish descent. Nothing surprises me anymore. It is not in the best interest of Europeans to unify those who were terrorizing Europe several hundreds of years ago. History has a tendency of repeating itself and old foes remain so, even under the pretext of economic colaboration. What you are talking about is the interest of Anglo-Saxons that didn't feel the cold blade of their blades on their "sensible skin" and do not know how it is like to be in the situation of fighting warmongers that hate the very fabric of your beeing. The Englishmen, especially, have a "proud" history of jumping to the "defense" of muslim nations even if they are the aggresors (most recently ilustrated in the Nagorno Karabakh conflict), prefering to join muslims in their oppresion against fellow Christians rather than helping christians be free of muslim rule. Also, the tatar oil reserves are not limitless. What will the tatars do when they will run out of oil? Probably moving further east on the bottom of the Caspian lake.
  24. I think the biggest problem the Armenians have to cope with is perfectly exemplified by the mentality of the individual with the forum name HyeFedayis. The biggest problem is, of course, unity and determination on the Armenian side. Because even if the turks/tatars have an army of 500 millions, there are things that they can never conquer. Also, another problem might be underestimating the tatar nation north of Arax river. There is a saying: "Don't underestimate the power of stupid people in large numbers". I am sure there will be a day, not far away, when the hopes of the Armenians will materialise in a crushing victory that will send the "lesser turks" currently residing north of Arax river, crawling back to whichever hole they came out in the first place. Unity and faith/hope. This might not be as simple as it sound. And don't underestimate your foes. Don't overestimate them either.
  25. Thank you for the warm welcome, Gamavor, and also for the explanation regardin the neko individual. The fact that his posts have no conection with the original thread might be attributed to his status as a "bored englishman". Seems that I have falsely interpreted his posts believing he is nothing than another tatar from north of Arax. I will correct that as soon as I will find an edit button. And altough his citizenship is probably english, his mentality certainly shows signs of turkish/tatar influence. He is just one of those persons that has nothing to say but keeps saying it. The fact that he is english also perfectly explains his distorted image about Romania, because after the fall of the comunist dictator Ceauşescu, the media from Englad has had plenty of anti-romanian propaganda portraying us like some 3rd world nation further confirming that the animosity they hold toward us orthodox nations in general, is something they can be proud of. Even a few months ago reporters from England were busy making pictures of some of the most decadent places in Romania. And altough, a recent questioning of the average engleshmen from the streets of London revealed that most of them haven't the slightest idea about the geographical position of Romania, but they have heard about abandoned children wich were only a problem immediately after the fall of comunism in Romania. It is interesting also that one out of seven englishmen consider investing in Romania and the number of retired englishmen in our country is not insignificant. The attitude the english have toward us orthodox nations is obvious even in this article from the Herald Tribune. http://www.iht.com/articles/ap/2006/12/26/...an_Musician.php Altough Nagorno Karabagh didn't even constitute a part of the tatar nation north of Arax river after the fall of communism in Russia, the englishmen state clearly that is actually "Azeri" land. Also the part that suffered the most is clearly the tatar part and no mention about the attrocities commited against the Armenians is present. That is the image England promotes regarding the Nagorno Karabakh conflict. No wonder the Armenians have to confront tremendous odds in freeing their millenia old lands. Furthermore I would like to say that there are many posts in this thread in which i would like to comment but that would simply take to much time, so I will limit myself on commenting on two more posts which are intended to hopefully return this discussion to its original thread. Obviously Armenia had the chance, but didn't used it. Why didn't they attacked? They considered it? What will you say in the future? "Armenians considered winning", but didn't win. This is another point I would like to emphasize. Because, you see, even if turks lose the First World War, they act like they won, and regarding Kharabakh, altough the Armenians won the war, it seems to me they act like the losing side. If things continue like this, theoretically, we can never regain the lost christian lands of Asia Minor and the Caucasus. Rest assured that you are not the only one who has observed this tendency. I am quite optimistic that Turkey will never join the EU, because the EU will lose the meaning of its first term. And I am not reffering to the geographical boundaries of Europe, but to what Europe really means. Thus, the Japanese and Koreans are more "european" than turks will ever be. Also, did you know how we, nations of the Balkans, employ the turk term? When we want to offend someone we do not use expressions like "Are you stupid?", but we use "Are you turk?" The term "turk" perfectly substitues other words like stupid, moron, cretin, uneducated, ill-mannered, decency lacking, vulgar etc. On the http://boycott-turkey.org forums I had an argument with a hypocrite turk that didn't quite understand the meanings implied by the specific utilisation of the word "turk". I also compared how turks refer to us christians as "ghiavurs" wich is a preconceived term in contrary with our employment of the word "turk" which is a direct consequence of the turkish occupation in the Balkans. Seems the turks helped humanity from a gramatical point of view, if you allow me. They have spared us the trouble of pronouncing many words when we want to insult someone and have provided us with a shortcut. The term "turk". Interesting enough is the fact that this employment of the world turk is used by many nations in the Balkans that are quite different from one another at cultural/national level, meaning we all have the same impressions regarding the turkish invaders. This says alot about the turkish "legacy" to humanity, in general.
