  1. use these to your show hide operations include both scripts. (change the exteinsions to .js) <script type="text/javascript" src='ShowDiv.js'> <script type="text/javascript" src='GetElemByID.js'> then suppose you have stuff here you call either of the funcitons in shodiv.js function ShowHideDiv(id) ShowHideDiv hides if it's visible, shows if it's hidden function ShowDiv(Itm) function HideDiv(Itm) and pass the id of the div "xx" <script language="javascript"> HideDiv("xx"); ShowDiv.js.txt GetElemByID.js.txt
  2. sometimes the level of ignorance of western civilization is just amazing
  3. http://azg.am/?lang=AR&num=2006012415 conflicting. but i'm pretty sure this is just to calm armenians. I've noticed the same tactic. This is just to prepare people mentally. They'll hand the 45% if not more, you'll see. Although i hope they don't.
  4. the government is ruled by idiots. i'd rather they increase the price than give control of the assets to russia. They did the same with ArmenTel. What happened? did the people not end up paying more? I don't know specific statistics but a rough calculations show that ArmenTels annual service charges amount to hundreds of millions. considering the 1.7 bln cubic meters, we'd end up paying just about 100 mln more per year. i'm sure we could afford it if we're able to afford armentel. The government's decision is idiotic.

  6. thanks alot. i forgot that i studied the newtons method in calc 2. actually i forgot the newtons method too. this is exactly what i needed. to be able to decrease the error as much as i wanted for the sqrt. tnx again.
  7. ok i've been banging my head for two days now without success over this. i'm trying to get the square root of a number without using Math.sqrt or Math.pow functions in java. does anyone know of a method to get the sqrt of a number without these?
  8. this is such a miniscule amount that the german government would hardly bother to ask for it from the turks. I've been really disapointed at the amount of compensations people get from these life insurance companies. If you do a rough count each person gets 3k. As it's been stated in this forum the amount of money insured would have a bigger value today. The only thing happening here armenians lying to themselves. And all those advocates and lawers are in a rush to close a dea. But they do not understand that this is not about money. They should not settle for such miniscule amounts. They should settle for at least 100 times more (or 10 if 100 is too much), so that it would start having some political effect also
  9. they want a referendum on a national basis. Meaning they want a referendum that involvs the whole az.
  10. what does the so called version of Artsax history have to do with safarov? btw. one thing azeris are good at is taking steps for improving their country's image in the international arena. Armenian government is just to lazy and relys for that on the diaspora. Which is a enormous mistake
  11. I don't like the idea of referendum. especially if it will be in more than 5 years. yet it seems to be the only viable solution. secondly. Artsax armenians did have a referendum before the azeris started the war. What would keep them this time? the peacekeepers? i doubt it. btw. as always the armeian side is too passive. They should bring up the first referendum on the table. If Az. is really commited to the idea of referendum, they should acknowledge the legitimacy of the first one.
  12. that's what i was implying. It gives us a hammer to discredit them in case the it's needed.
  13. at least now they're manipulating history in the open. Now we have videos and photos of their misinformation for those who are braindead.
  14. http://abcnews.go.com/International/wireStory?id=1440906 and we were surprised by ramil safarov
  15. demand halt? they already finished their job. We should spread the news as loudly as possible. Let the world see them for who they are. Fanatics
  16. you're repeating yourself. we all know there are azeri refugees. No one is arguing that there aren't. But what you need to keep in mind is that these refugees were not the result of armenian agression, they were the result of azeri government's decision to solve matters in a military manner.
  17. around 150 - 200k (mostly in spitak). When the Artsax movement started, a couple of incidents happend, but the police didn't let it go out of hand. Azeris got scared, most of them sold their houses and left. In sumgait and baku. Azeris pogromed against armenians. Neither police nor the medical staff did anything to help armenians. In fact azer mobs were seen with lists of armeinas that live around the city. It could only mean that they had the support of local authorities in making the pogroms against armenias. Armenians were violently forced out of their homes. Most didn't even have the chance to take their belongings with them. don't put words into my mouth. I didn't say you support genocide. Btw why do i get the idea that you just talk for the sake for the talking? That's exactly what i said. Not every war is a crime. And please stop talking about irrelevant topics. Saddam didn't start the war in Artsax why wouldn't it? i don't know. But if his aim was to make it look like an accident, it wouldn't drop the bomb on a military target for no justified reason. which makes him, your hero, a criminal
  18. objectivity doesn't mean blaming both sides 50/50 for starting a war. Whatever happened after the war started is not in question here. Don't change the subject As much as i agree there were wrongdoings on both sides i cannot agree that there was a campaign of ethnic cleansing on part of armenains. Because there was none. both before and during the war, azerbaijan had a more superior number of military equipment. Even if azerbaijan was losing a war it started itself, it would not justify direct turkish intervention. Not always. Btw i do not understand what image you're trying to portray of yourself, by at one point supporting turkish intervention and at another, quoting this pacifist phrase. As if you actually mean it. that would be a direct act of war. And i doubht anyone would buy the "accidental" part of dropping a bomb on an armenian military target, while armenia is in a war against azerbaijan, whom turkey supports. So if the intention was to make it look like an accident, it most likely would be a civilian target (to send a message). So there you have it your hero is a criminal
  19. You mean like, accidentally dropping a bomb on your head is ok? what you're saying is this. Our brother's azeris started pogroms and ethnic cleansing campain in Artsax, so the least we could do is support them, by attacking the only entity (armenia) that protects Artsax. it was helping enough by sending military help and officers to azerbaijan. The intention to drop a bomb on armenia was nothing but criminal. Where do you think the bomb would "accidentaly" land? on open field, or on some village?
  20. http://azg.am/?lang=EN&num=2005121602 AZERI SOLDIERS DESTROY TOMBSTONES OF JUGHA CEMETERY Armenian embassy in Iran was notified that around 100 Azeri soldiers invaded the cemetery of Old Jugha on the bank of River Arax and began destroying Armenian khachkars - saved from similar sacrilege in 2000 - with hammers, spades and military vehicles. The embassy views this as another attempt to falsify the history by wiping off the Armenian trace in the region of Nakhijevan. Aram I Catholicos of Cilicia sent a letter to UNESCO president on occasion of this act of vandalism expressing his anger and concern.
