the government is ruled by idiots. i'd rather they increase the price than give control of the assets to russia. They did the same with ArmenTel. What happened? did the people not end up paying more? I don't know specific statistics but a rough calculations show that ArmenTels annual service charges amount to hundreds of millions. considering the 1.7 bln cubic meters, we'd end up paying just about 100 mln more per year. i'm sure we could afford it if we're able to afford armentel. The government's decision is idiotic.

this is such a miniscule amount that the german government would hardly bother to ask for it from the turks. I don't like the idea of referendum. especially if it will be in more than 5 years. yet it seems to be the only viable solution. secondly. Artsax armenians did have a referendum before the azeris started the war. What would keep them this time? the peacekeepers? i doubt it. btw. as always the armeian side is too passive. They should bring up the first referendum on the table. If Az. is really commited to the idea of referendum, they should acknowledge the legitimacy of the first one.
