Armenia isn't homogenus. there are many different nationalities in Armenia. the reason there are more armenians is because Armenia isn't a desireable place to live for others. it isn't even for armenian because of the harsh economic condition.

that's an enourmous sum. i'm not saying that they shouldn't do it, but the government should take care of people and pay its debt to them. find people jobs rather that spoonfeeding them. i'm not saying that the project is a bad idea, but they should at least think to make the living condition of people better. who is going to live in those houses they are building, when people are leaving the country?

i disagre with mj,tothos and hovik. I feel that this is not written by a professional too. however, i must say that whats written is quite possible. you can't be too sure whether it's true or not. the fact that Armenia is a mauntanious region, is true. and it increases the risk of the possibility of earthquakes. but i feel that there's something misterious about it. for example the questioning of the official. and his answer. you are loughing about the technology. but think this way. if a scientist was able to built something that would create an earthquake 100, don't you think that it is quite possible that soviets had the technology? but i don't think that such a thechnology was used in 1988. i rather believe to the theory of the nukelear bomb. tecnotic to be more correct. the western media says that it was 6.something. do you believe in that? i think that it was an earthquake of a much greater magnitude. as we all know the western press has the ability to exaggerate things or make them look small. it exaggerates things to attract more readers or viewers and it doesn't really talk about serious things. it would print some stupit stff about someones life on the cover page and it would print the important stuff (the ones that it doesn't want the public to be exposed to) on the last page. it prints it on the last page so that it will not be later criticised for hiding information from public. although this may seem a little of the topic to you, but i still believe that the westernt press is being controlled by the government. the reason i brought this topic is because i believe that there is something being hidden from the public. now let's go back to nukes. i believe there was used soeme sort of bomb. i don't think it was nuklear, but something smart. i think that there was going to be an earthquake anyways, but the use of some sort of a bomb might have made it stronger.
