Did you guys know that Israel Hakopkoghyan, former boxer, olympic champion is a candidat for Elections 07 of National Assembly (Ազգային Ժողով)... I dont wanna say anything bad ..But i've seen him on TV he cant speak a sentence without "zhargon"...And he souds and has a face like Mike Tyson... I dont know...I think next to Dodi gago and others its not a big surprise... I dont know if this is a joke or it really happened.. They say when Putin came to Armenia...They passed by Dodi Gago's "castle", and Putin asked who owns it...When they answered that "Tupoy Gago" owns it...Putin said... "Nu Vi dayote...Esli u vas Tupie takie doma imeyut...Predstavlyayu shto umnie kak ya butut imet..." "If here "Stupids" owns houses like this..I can imagine what smart people like me would own..." LOL

I am sorry hayemyes, i have to disagree regarding Shprot...She is a total mess...Let me quote just a line from her recent song which she considers a revolution in Armenian sow biz. " Es em ko Mexr@(honey) ari indz ker"...And expressions worse than that, i just cant remember right now..I think that would be a disaster if someone like her represents Armenia.. Going back to what Em124 said...Sprot was just a backround for Andre in Eueovision 06...

I love Hayko very much and i feel so bad for the disappointment we gonna have... The song is very typical... After the Eurovision 06...There was an interview and Hayko has been asked if he would like to represent Armenia in 07..He answered that its not in his style to dance, jump and shock the audience...He sings romances and he thinks that he is not made for singing contests like Eurovision...He added that he was proud of Andre and that he could never do the dancing part... I was surprised..When i saw him competing... Will see... When is it, Does anyone know the date/time??

I locked the remote control of the garage and all my keys(car, home) in the garage...I was lucky i had my phone...Oh and before my cousin came to save us... i tried to open the bathroom window with something and broke it... OK! I think we should stop sharing right here... Or people are gonna call Social services and inform that two absent-minded people are raising kids...

This is sooo funny...It reminded me of our neighbour in Armenia...She was an old lady past 20 years (no one knows her age)...She used to (i heard still does) clock in and out our neigbours..She knew all the problems in thier homes...And had answer on every question... Here it goes... The Old Poodle A wealthy old lady decides to go on a photo safari in Africa, taking her faithful , aged poodle named Cuddles along for the company. One day the poodle starts chasing butterflies and before long, Cuddles discovers that she's lost. Wandering about, she notices a leopard heading rapidly in her direction with the intention of having lunch. The old poodle thinks, "Oh, oh! I'm in deep doo-doo now!" Noticing some bones on the ground close by, she immediately settles down to chew on the bones with her back to the approaching cat. Just as the leopard is about to leap, the old poodle exclaims loudly, "Boy, that was one delicious leopard! I wonder if there are any more around here?" Hearing this, the young leopard halts his attack in mid-strike, a look of terror comes over him and he slinks away into the trees. "Whew!" says the leopard, "That was close! That old poodle nearly had me!" Meanwhile, a monkey who had been watching the whole scene from a nearby tree, figures he can put this knowledge to good use and trade it for protection from the leopard. So off he goes, but the old poodle sees him heading after the leopard with great speed, and figures that something must be up. The monkey soon catches up with the leopard, spills the beans and strikes a deal for himself with the leopard. The young leopard is furious at being made a fool of and says, "Here, monkey, hop on my back and see what's going to happen to that conniving canine!" Now, the old poodle sees the leopard coming with the monkey on his back and thinks, "What am I going to do now?" But instead of running, the dog sits down with her back to her attackers, pretending she hasn't seen them yet, and just when they get close enough to hear, the old poodle says: "Where's that dang monkey? I sent him off an hour ago to bring me another leopard!" Moral of this story.. Don't mess with old farts..Age and treachery may overcome youth and skills!

I found this really helpful...For me especially The second one... THINGS YOU NEVER KNEW YOUR CELL PHONE COULD DO. There are a few things that can be done in times of Grave emergencies. Your mobile phone can actually be A life saver or an emergency tool for survival. Check Out the things that you can do with it: FIRST Subject: Emergency The Emergency Number worldwide for Mobile is 112. If you find yourself out of the coverage area of your Mobile; network and there is an emergency, dial 112 And the mobile will search any existing network to Establish the emergency number for you, and interestingly This number 112 can be dialed even if the keypad is locked. Try it out. SECOND Subject: Have you locked your keys in the car? Does your car have remote keyless entry? This may come In handy someday. Good reason to own a cell phone: If You lock your keys in the car and the spare keys are at Home, call someone at home on their cell phone from your Cell phone. Hold your cell phone about a foot from your Car door and have the person at your home press the unlock Button, holding it near the mobile phone on their end. Your car will unlock. Saves someone from having to drive Your keys to you. Distance is no object. You could be hundreds of miles away, And if you can reach someone who has the other "remote" For your car, you can unlock the doors (or the trunk). Editor's Note: It works fine! We tried it out and it Unlocked our car over a cell phone!" THIRD Subject: Hidden Battery Power Imagine your cell battery is very low. To activate, press The keys *3370# Your cell will restart with this reserve And the instrument will show a 50% increase in battery. This reserve will get charged when you charge your cell Next time. FOURTH How to disable a STOLEN mobile phone? To check your Mobile phone's serial number, key in the Following digits on your phone: * # 0 6 # A 15 digit code will appear on the screen. This number Is unique to your handset. Write it down and keep it Somewhere safe. When your phone get stolen, you can Phone your service provider and give them this code. They will then be able to block your handset so even If the thief changes the SIM card, your phone will be totally useless. You probably won't get your phone back, but at least You know that whoever stole it can't use/sell it either. If everybody does this, there would be no point in people Stealing mobile phones. And Finally.... FIFTH Cell phone companies are charging us $1.00 to $1.75 or More for 411 information calls when they don't have to. Most of us do not carry a telephone directory in our Vehicle, which makes this situation even more of a Problem. When you need to use The 411 information option, Simply dial: (800) FREE 411, or (800) 373-3411 without Incurring any charge at all. Program this into your cell Phone now. This is the kind of information people don't Mind receiving, so pass it on to your family and friends.

U.S. ambassador to Turkey: Bush administration will oppose Armenian genocide resolution The Associated PressPublished: January 31, 2007 ISTANBUL, Turkey: The U.S. ambassador to Turkey said Wednesday that the Bush administration would actively oppose a resolution to recognize the deaths of 1.5 million Armenians at the end of World War I as genocide. Democratic and Republican lawmakers introduced the resolution at a press conference on Tuesday. The Bush administration has warned that even congressional debate on the topic could damage relations with Turkey, a NATO member with close ties to the United States. "The Administration will be actively involved with Congress to oppose this resolution," U.S. Ambassador to Turkey Ross Wilson said in a statement e-mailed to news organizations in Turkey. "The Bush Administration's position on this issue has not changed." In keeping with traditional U.S. policy, Wilson's statement referred to the killings as "tragic events that took place at the end of the Ottoman Empire," not as genocide. Turkey has adamantly denied that its predecessor state, the Ottoman government, caused the Armenian deaths in a planned genocide. The Turkish government has said the death toll is inflated, and that Armenians were killed or displaced in civil unrest during the disarray surrounding the empire's collapse. Today in Europe Chirac muses on Iran, and then retreats German court challenges CIA over abduction Putin vows a free democratic vote on next leader Despite strong Turkish opposition, however, an increasing number of governments are recognizing the killings as genocide. Rep. Adam Schiff, a Democrat from California, and other lead sponsors of the resolution in the U.S. House of Representatives, say they have commitments from more than 150 other members who wanted to add their names as co-sponsors after the legislation's introduction. That would be a strong show of support in the 435-member body. The resolution's supporters say that House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, who has expressed her support, is likely to come under pressure from the Bush administration to keep the House from voting.

I agree with Extrahaye about the mistery in women...My teacher used to say "Կին@ պետկե անավարտ գիրk (book) մնա, տխամարդու համար"... I think we should let them know about the major things that happened, but the detailes about the feeleings and the "mistakes" (in my opinion) have to be dug very deep...Because the shadows of the past can affect the realationship...

Maybe i couldnt express my thoughts as i wanted to...Armenia, Yerevan will always feel like home to me, regardess of how much it changed...And (its my personal opinion) your family will find something that will be dear "hogeharazat" for them in Armenia if they do visit... Its like when you love someone you cant expect them to stay the way they were, and if they change you wouldnt love them less... As i said its my personal opinion

Since i am the only one who actually wrote his name, the comment above is addressed to me... But his last name spells both ways Aznavour and Aznavur..and when translating Proper nouns from French, Russian, Armenian, etc.. There are different ways of spelling...And each one is correct... I am sorry if i disrespected him by misspelling his name...
