Armenian Christian Marries Jewish Billions Child
Verginne replied to America-Hye's topic in News Feed
Well, "if" he was by chance Armenian BEFORE the wedding...he will NOT be Armenian AFTER the wedding. -
Bush didn't have to "call for it" he just did it. You don't call the tons of bombs and DU destroying a nation, not to mention all of the starving children? What is with people here? Iran has a friendly relationship with Armenia an alliance and symbiotic relationship, while israel actively works to harm Armenia and Armenians. Not to mention, whose food, medical supplies and weapons were found on dead azeris and mujahadeen during the Artsax war anyway? You want to talk about WMD and THREATS, israel has threatened to nuke all the capitals of Europe.
-
What's all this talk about turkey being a "neighbor"???? I don't see turkey's future as neighbor to anyone except in the Mongolian environs. There is no benefit for turkey in the EU unless we want revenge against Europe for their part in the AG because turkey in the EU means the end of Europe and European civilization.
-
You're attributing to the wrong group the desire to keep this issue going. Some people just love to wallow in it, being victims. Every time progressive, proactive measures are proposed, they jump up and down and oppose those who wish to move forward. They want this process to last a hundred or even a thousand years. Not me...I want it all over with before the last genocide survivor closes their eyes for the last time. Anybody can see that the politeness, the dialogue have yielded negative results. Sorry, I do not wish to be part of a losing or never ending process.

I didn't specifically address my comments to you, I addressed them to those that expressed the desire to suck up, I mean e-mail, her. Are ya feeling guilty there, eh??? Maybe you had it in the back of your mind. If I annoy anyone here, too bad. I get extremely annoyed with people who collaborate with turkish aims. They have already told the EU that because they dialogue with Armenians now, no matter how they fought and resisted, there is no need for them to be required to recognize the AG before admittance to the EU. Therefore, Armenians who dialogue with turks are serving turkish aims. They provide excuses for the turks so that they can keep pretending. You can also take this to the bank, THIS turk is no different than any other, especially given she is the daughter of a turkish diplomat. I am sure daddy is smiling right now at his daughter. Maybe she will even bat her turkish eyelashes at the Armenian guys, just like the other one.

This is what happens when dialoging with turks after ninety years, people should learn a lesson. PROF. BASKIN ORAN: IT'S ARMENIAN DIASPORA'S TURN Journal of Turkish Weekly Sept 26 2005 ISTANBUL - Prof. Dr. Baskin Oran, who is one of the organizers of the Istanbul Armenian Conference, told to Hurriyet daily "the Armenians should not use the other (indirect) ways and other states against Turkey." Prof. Oran argued that "the Armenian diaspora should be more reasonable". Oran further said that the ASALA murders and injustice in Armenian terrorism caused great reaction among the Turkish people. Prof. Baskin Oran from Ankara University also claimed that the Armenian issue is not a taboo in Turkey and the Istanbul Armenian Conference proved this. "Armenians should give up recognition-compensation-territory aims. The Diaspora must keep open the dialogue channels" Prof. Oran added. http://groong.usc.edu/news/msg124092.html See, now they don't even pretend they want to recognize the AG.

Yeah, there used to be this daughter of a turkish diplomat pretending to support Armenians, but in the end, she proved to be nothing but a turk as she thinks that turkey should get off the hook with NO consequences. You wanna e-mail her to suck up real nice, pucker up good and put on some candy flavored lipstick.
-
Don't be so quick to suck it all up. One of the organizers of the conference said that now that they agreed to dialogue, it's time for Armenians to be reasonable and forget ALL of their demands, including recognition. So there.

Verginne replied to Nikephoros_Phokas's topic in Genocide
When you refer to turkish deniers, say DENIERS. They are NOT revisionists. -

We can only take your statement as a cheap cop out unless you give us one or two names and proof of these horrible British Holocaust denialists. -
Seems like some people need a reminder. ========== 14 September 2005-TURKEY /NEW YORK Cihan News Agency-World Jewish lobby in US pledges support to Turkey on Armenian allegiations Representatives of the Jewish associations in the US have announced that they would favor Turkey if a draft bill regarding the Armenian allegations of genocide committed by the Ottoman authorities during WW1 are presented in the US Congress. PM Recep Tayyip Erdoðan today received representatives of US Jewish associations in New York where he will attend the United Nations Millennium Summit. The Jewish representatives thanked Turkey for its help sent following the Katrina hurricane disaster, and also expressed their appreciation of Erdogan's contribution to regional stability and democratic efforts in the middle east. In relation to attempts to have a bill passed in the US Congress condemning as genocide the deaths of Armenians in the Ottoman Empire during World War 1, the Jewish delegation said that they would go on backing Turkey. Erdoðan also denied the allegations of genocide and stated that the archives relevant to the issue has been opened to researchers. The Jewish delegation also expressed their thanks to Erdoðan for Turkey's hosting of the recent Israeli-Pakistani top-level diplomatic meeting held in Istanbul. http://www.cihannews.com/

Lantos voted the way he did because he was pissed at the turks. Not because he got his a.ss kissed by any Armenians chor klooch. "Rep. Tom Lantos, D-Calif., the panel's top Democrat, said he was reversing his own position in supporting the resolution. He said though Turkey was a good friend, it needed to show more solidarity with the United States on important matters, noting the issue of U.S. troops, among others." Asbarez

There ain't a dime's worth of difference.
-
HA HA HA HA, don't be such a vochil. ROTFLMFAO Timing, what timing? Wipe the foam off of your mouth. What a chor klooch.
-
What if the amendment says "Today's turkey bears no responsibility for the actions of the ottoman empire?"
-
Chasing after bones again? Apparently you missed the jewish lobby pledge to give all out support to turkey in defeating any vote in Congress. Maybe he quaked and floored you, but it did nothing for me. Besides...we need to know the details of the amendment that was attached to the resolution. It may make it totally worthless.
-
There is NOTHING new about turkish/jewrkish brotherhood and co-conspiracy to commit Genocide on Armenians. The jews have more reasons than the israel turkey alliance to want to deny and cover it up, they were part of it. After all Herzl was the first jew denier of the AG.
-
My connection frequently broke up or cut off. What are the details of the amendment that was attached to the resolution?? Does the amendment ruin the whole thing?
-
Yea, don't turn the topic to the truth....thou shalt not compare
-
I would call your situation necessity rather than politics. Unlike you needing your job...we don't need the turks for nothing. In that case, why are the Nazis portrayed as the worst monsters that ever lived? In comparing them with turks, they look like humanitarians.

A rather ineffectual excuse for making a movie about the AG for personal aggrandisement. It is, after all, HISTORY...a history that needs to be told because up until recently, it was something that certain people didn't want the world to know about. Now that they are forced by circumstances, well just downplay and minimize it....damage control.
-
Your statements below indicates just the opposite of what you're saying here. Believe me, the movie I have in mind would not be considered entertainment. It would be something that would keep people from sleeping at night. If they are human, that is. I've talked to some people about such a project....someday....if we only had that guy's resources, we would do it right. I saw that movie I think. Sorry, but I have to STRONGLY disagree about the genocide part. Sure there was a genocide during WWII, but it didn't happen to jews. So it seems you've been sucked into their propaganda like most people. Nobody suffrered more than they did during WWII. Pffffffffftttttttt. Tell that to Russians who lost twenty-seven million people. But they are Russians, so they don't count. Of course The Pianist didn't educate you about THEE HOLOCAUST because the movie was NOT about the Armenian Genocide. You are entitled to your opinion and unlike the others, I don't have to call you idiotic names or tell you that YOU have to agree with me. I'm glad you liked it. I bet you'd like ours even more. I really can't think of any Hollywood movie I'd wish to cite as an example for a movie about the AG I'd like to emulate. At least right now I can't think of one.
-
Good point. I should have worded that differently for sure. Most Hollywood movies are so full of BS. Of course, a movie on the AG most certainly doesn't need such BS. What I mean to say is any movie on the subject should be dedicated to truth first and foremost, unlike Hollywood. There is absoluely no need for exaggerations of the Hollywood variety, but by the same token people have to get a clear, true picture of what happened and don't go trying, as he freely admitted, not to paint the turks like the mosters they really were. There is no way you can make a true movie on the AG that does not make turks look like monsters. Why was he so concerned about making the turks look like monsters??
-
You are being an absurd and intolerant bigot by suggesting that we have to like this guy's movie and nobody better DARE to criticize. Pffffffffffttttttttt. Get off on these scenes...don't make me laugh. You know perfectly well what I am saying and by ALL Hollywood standards this film fell exceedingly short to show the true picture of what happened during the AG. It would be better had he never made a film on the subject rather than downplay and minimize the AG. There is nothing neo-nazi white supremacist about refusing to be sucked in by lies. Let's see you call jews all kinds of idiotic names for denying the AG. I dare you...I double triple dog dare you to criticize the jews for denying the AG Let us see you call them neo-turk jewish supremacists. For starters...
-
If Egoyan wanted to use the AG to sell his form of art, we have every right to criticize him. His "story within a story" would have gotten him nowhere on its own. I don't appreciate the AG being severely minimized by his artsy fartsy film. People were expecting something better. Probably most members of the community could have created a better movie on the AG. Speaking of propaganda films, I bet you cried waves of bitter tears during Schindler's List, The Diary of Ann Frank and all those other sobfests. But that's not propaganda now is it? I see his next movie got him a triple X rating.
