I think I should rent a hotel room for a week. BTW, one of the best views of Ararat is from the crossroads of Komitas and Kasian streets in late autumn when you have one of those crispy sunny mornings. When you make a turn from Komitas to Kasian the buildings in front block the view of the moutain's bottom and the top's view becomes more intense.

We Armenians have strong inclination towards nostalgie. Especially, those of us with more comprehensive knowledge of things in this world. The simple minded ones go on with their daily routine ... and this is healthy. There is too much history in Armenianness. Taking into account that after the AG we became a new nation, I think we should destroy this link with the "heavy" history. We should try to treat our memories as subjects to our will and not let them overwhealm and mould our character. There is nothing "magical" about Yerevan. We even have prostitutes! Which I think indicates in some sick way that eveything is still OK with us. I can guarantee you that even if you destroy your old memories you will leave Armenia with new ones.

I usually keep different unecessary old things (that includes eveything from shoes to papers etc.) for long time. Then I throw all of this stuff away in one day including some other stuff I realy need. Than this cycle starts again.

Eve jan, I know many contemporary jazz fans will appreciate Sosa but I don't like that style. I don't like when music makes me think. Actually, it's kind of strange that you like him (I mean his music of course ). Seriously, I think he is one of those people that are currently trying to introduce Asian melodies to Jazz. This is not new, of course, Indian and Arabic music has been synthezised with Jazz already. I am saying "trying to introduce" because, as far as I understand, this genre of Jazz has not been developed yet, it is in embrionic stage. The real masterpieces of this genre will start appearing when the Asians themselves start playing it. Same happened to Latin jazz. Of course this is only my authorative view.
