Hey Arpa, Try the microsoft website, it should have the additional fonts for the operating sys. I use windows 2000, and I had to manually install the Armenian fonts from the CD for the system, beside that it works fine. The microsoft system also has 2 keyboard layouts, for eastern and western Armenian. Did you try downloading the true type fonts for your system to see if that would work? If you need some stuff let me know, I don't want to get off the topic.

There should be a happy median between the nationalist and the religious community. In the Armenian view, a person cannot have one without the other (religion and nationalism). If the Armenians would learn to accept that their history, they would know that our most courageous and most nationalistic hero’s were our clergy as well. There will be people who are more religious than nationalist and vice versa. Now here is a cross road, when Armenians study and know their Church and nation, they are better able to preserve the identity as one of the worlds oldest civilizations. Seriously, let’s look at the present; most of the people are clueless of our Saints and martyrs. Ok it seems I have to break it down, the Armenian Church is responsible for, creating an alphabet, building hospitals and orphanages, instituting the family canon defending the Armenian Nation and keeping it autonomous, when the royalty and political groups wanted to assimilate our culture into the "ruling party", (the group that was ruling over Armenia at which ever point and time in history), it was the Church again that kept the Armenian culture and heritage. The Church is what gives Armenians hope. These types of statements do not better the cause, considering what the Church has done for the Armenian nation. This type of comment also show that the turks are progressing with the ability to erase an Armenians history. Again, I am not saying that Armenia doesn't need to build up defenses. The Churches are not just buildings, the Churches are also the people who built the buildings. Those monuments helped define us as a people and a nation. I think that is what Mshaks point is.
