What a fool I have been all these years sending money to Armenian organizations. Back I go into the odar morass. You will all be no help to me but only work to put me into an early grave, one way or the other. Since I know Armenian, perhaps I can find some odar organization which works to let me live by working against the Armenian establishment. "***" I say to the Armenian community. Azat, I have already stated, buried in the archives of this forum exactly where the molestation occurred. Quite honestly, I was very young and do not remember the priest's name, but I do remember his face. In any case, he was about 30 years old at the time, which would which would make him well over 80 now, if he is still living. Azat, you do not understand how difficult it is for persons who have been abused to come forward. When I was having stress problems, my Armenian doctor sent me to an odar psychologist friend of his. I opened up to the psychologist and told him what had happened. He must have consulted with the doctor because after that my doctor treated me like a leper. My doctor was a Armenian Catholic married to an odar Roman Catholic. Read the interviews with Attorney Mitchell Garabedian of Boston and you will see how many of us do not come forward. My father was traumatized by the Genocide. He lost his Dad and his identity to become a hammal in Paris. He had lived with the monks for a while shortly after the Genocide while his mother was dealing with "mental problems." How dare you judge my father? In any case, I would not come forward because I don't want to be tainted by notoriety. I could no longer go to work or anywhere else with my head high. I would always be marked if I ever came forward. You do not understand the power of the Catholic Church. Have you read about the recent situation in the monastery in Austria?

Whatever the facts are should be brought into view. I think that you are jumping to conclusions. The facts of the case show that Haglund was sharing a bottle of wine with his killers. If your child had been molested, would you share a bottle of wine with your child's molester? My father did not kill the priest that molested me. He just left the Catholic church and raised us as Protestants. My mother went through a lifetime of turmoil knowing that this had occured, since she loved her church so much. I do not think that the experience determined what I am, but that he priest sensed something there before he made his move. Arpa, I am no more or less sexual than anyone else. Your prejudices are cloulding your perceptions.
-
You sound like a Turk, who would say that after they killed Armenians that they would be back with their Jesus. I suspect that you think that Haglund was asking to be murdered.
-
In the western Armenian conmmunity where my parents were from, many of the Armenians were "Turka-khosk," so I do not know the diffference between Armenian and Turkish phrases. They would also throw in some French and German words in family conversations, so I sometimes throw in these words also. Armenian school did not correct this, because I had learned Armenian before going to Armenian school and that way of speaking comes through.

Arpa, Rapist? I have only had sexual relations with my ex-wife for the last 22 years. Nothing else except during my marriage to her. You just confirm how INSANE the Armenian community is on this issue. I suspect that the murder of Joshua Haglund wil blow this issue into the international media and bring the Armenian power-structure face-to-face with their handling of this.

Boghos, Other than the minor differential, she is a carbon copy of her mother, a "bosh boghas." My ex-wife learned to be outspoken from emulating her mother. How many Armenian women do you know who are active in Republican politics (or Democrat politics for that matter) to the extent that my ex-mother-in law is?
-
My godmother and cousin is also the godmother to the children of a few of her prominent friends and business associates. She considers these odars her godchildren, but tries desperately to forget that I am her first godchild and blood relative. This is a woman who rubs elbows with Republican Presidents, just as my former mother-in-law does.
-
When my ex-wife told her mother that she was struggling with bisexual feelings, her mother told her. "Mer meche asang pan chega." I don't want to know! Interesting that this mother is a prominent Republican.

Mitch Kehetian, who voted for Bush in 2000, based on his Genocide pledge, has written an editorial urging all Armenians in the US to vote for Kerry this year. He states that we not encourage such behavior as Bush's reneging upon his pledge.
-
He will only stand a chance after Kocharian decides to retire. If enough Armenians in the ROA realize that this is in their best interests, he will prevail. I fear, however, about how accepting some will be of the positive changes he will bring about. There still are Taliban-types in Armenia who want to keep the women barefoot and pregnant.
-
So the article was a Turkish plant. We know what we got with Bush. It could only get better with Kerry. There may be some backtracking after Kerry is elcted, as Domino states, but the situation could not get worse than it is under Bush.
-
I think Levon's time has passed. We need a Raffi Hovanissian. Like Greece and Latvia, we need a westerner in there to drag the country into the western economies.
-
You see Armen EVEN wants Bush as President of Armenia
-
If Bush had not used his dirty politics in South Carolina in 2000, McCain would probably be President today. Has Bush been any more supportive of Armenian issues than McCain would have been? I would have supported McCain over Gore. Bush is an absolute disaster as President. Why anyone would want to vote for him is incomprehensible, unless they are an avowed Evangelical.
-
Here is your answer. Armen is an avid Bush supporter Armen Posted on: Oct 6 2004, 01:57 PM Don't make a mistake! Group: Moderator Posts: 1432 Joined: 5-October 03 From: Armenia <-> US Member No.: 1446 Vote for Bush!...I mean would you give LTP a second chance? Vote and leave a comment!!!

I am very up front as to my support for Kerry, as I was about my role in the Wesley Clark campaign and my support of Republican John McCain. Armen clearly is attempting to undermine any support for John Kerry among Armenians. Isn't it interesting that he mentions this article and then produces it moments later? The Armenian establishment (to be read as wealthy and socially conservative) have been hoodwinking rank-and-file Armenians for decades to believe that their well-being lies with the US Republican Party. In truth, it only assures the well-being of the affluent Armenians who are in charge of our community.
-
Armenians know what we have in Bush, re: Armenian issues. Not a very good record. I for one would take a chance on Kerry. His past record is very good on Armenian issues. It could not get much worse from that of the Bush Administration.
-
Armen, Do not use me as an example as I am as atypical (untypical) an example as is found. No one would suspect that I go both ways. Besides I have had no sexual relations with anyone but my ex-wife for the past 22 years. If a jilted co-worker had not stalked my apartment, no one would have known. She told my then-girlfriend that I had another side. You probably meet HS and BS persons every day. You just don't know that they are such.

So now we find that James Hagland was homosexual. There's your answer as to why he was murdered. Blood on the hands of our Catholicos and our Armenian clergy.
-
Any Armenian who reflects upon Bush's record toward Armenian issues and still votes for him is ABOUSH!
-
Update. Henchmen of the member of ROA parliament accused of being homosexual sent them to Zvanotz Hotel to ascertain home residence of accuser Akopyan. Then henchmen went to his home and drew pistols to kill him. However, Akopyan was not killed.

Nairi, Thank you for your assessment. I have attempted to maintain a non-confrontational demeanor in this forum. Some like MJ (arrogance beyond belief), Artur (who wants to keep women in the Middle Ages), and even the transsexual Dan have tried my limits. Since Domino had personal information on my illustrious family, I suspected him. He has for-the-most-part conducted himself honorably here.,
-
If it was not you Domino, I sincerely apologize. Then who has exposed me, I wonder.
-
Maral, If it were not for Domino's treacherous ways, I would have remained anonymous in this Forum. I would not be jeopordizing my job or my dignity. Domino, however, is a very treacherous person who has exposed me and created problems for me in the Armenian community.
