MosJan
AZERI DELEGATES INTEND TO PORTRAY ARMENIANS AS TERRORISTS Two Armenian lawmakers - Shavarsh Kocharyan and Hermine Naghdaryan - attended Monday PACE Liberal fraction meeting as members of the fraction. It became clear at the meeting that Azeri delegates intend to accuse Armenians of terrorism during Artsax problem likely discussion at the PACE winter session, Shavarsh Kocharyan said in an interview with our correspondent. “I was concerned about that yet before departure from Yerevan. That’s why I applied from Yerevan to be put on waiting list for making speech at the session”, Kocharyan said. In his words, Azeri lawmakers are going to accuse Armenians of terrorism also on Wednesday, when Terror Challenges topic will be discussed at the PACE session on Russian delegation initiative

vava
Azeris, despite years of trying to do the same, have not been credible in their efforts - at least not from a world perspective. Unless they've changed their tactics, I suspect they won't get very far at PACE either. Nevertheless the situation bears the need for the ROA to further develop and continue an appropriate information campaign with the aim of dispelling the mistruths that result. DominO123
I have a report from Helsinki Watch dated September 1992, that show us whom really were the terrorists, or the COVCAS BULLETIN 16 June 1992 etc... People have a short memory, those reports should be brought out to light again and presented to the world and show whom really were the terrorists. The Azeris should explain where are the hundreds of Armenian hostages taken by the Azeris, and if it is true that they were killed and mutilated during the Xojali "massacres." It was a brilliant idea to mutilate the courps so that people don't discover later that the mutilate courps were in fact Armenians. That would explain why those ones didn't respected the Muslim burial ritual, and were left exposed for others to take pictures, and when it was time for an investigation, they disapeared, brought by the Azeris for the alleged Muslim burial. Terrorist? acts speak loader than words.
Armen
Check this out all who write papers on Azerbaijan and terrorism. It's killer reference. It's the web-site of Isreali Institute for Counter Terrorism. http://www.ict.org.il Here is an article by Shaul Shay and Yoram Schweitzer called The ‘Afghan Alumni’ Terrorism. Scroll to item 49. It says: http://www.ict.org.il/articles/articledet.cfm?articleid=140 "Azerbaijan [49] Following the defeats suffered by the Azeri (Muslim) forces in their war with the Armenians (Christians) over control of the Nagorny Artsax region, Azerbaijan turned to Afghanistan in August 1993 for military aid. Afghanistan responded by sending 1,000 mujahideen warriors to help the Azeris. In October 1993, the Afghan mujahideen launched a surprise attack against the Armenian forces in the region of Zanglan (near the Iranian border), and even gained ground, before being repulsed by the Armenian forces. As far as we know, these mujahideen forces remained in Azerbaijan where they continue to help the Azeris in their struggle against the Armenians."
