hytga
i don't know wether to take the article seriously or not. i was anxiously waiting for longhorn, then they announced winFs is not gonna be part of longhorn, now this. http://www.thespoof.com/news/spoof.cfm?headline=s5i6489 with all due respect to ms haters, i'm really sorry longhorn won't make it as promised or as early as promised. i mean serously. i haven't used mac, but linux althuugh is powerfull is in my opinion a decade behind windows with it's user friendlyness. btw i'm still kinda confused. is winFx going to be part of longhorn or not? articles on ms site say one thing, the ones outside ms site say another. BTW Linux is not a decade behind Windows with it's user friendlyness... I propose you to install the latest Mandrake, you'll see of what I am talking about. Azat
This is really true you guys. no more windows, and if you have seen the latest beta of Office 2005 you will realize that no more office either. In the pack for office 2005 they give a small typewriter, a calculator and a projector. Here I have the pics of the stuff that came in the box. http://www.pennwriters.org/typewriter.gif http://www.canon.com.au/images/big_products/p23dhii%20calculator.jpg http://www.howardcc.edu/learningcenter/av/photos_equip/Overhead%20Projector.jpg there you have it, the new MS Word, MS Excel and PowerPoint replacements. This is a very sad sad sad day... Edited September 4, 2004 by Azat
hytga
I hope you're joking when you say if you don't know if you have to take it seriously. first i took it serously but a few minutes later i realized it was a joke, but decided to post it anyway for the fun of it. i used red hat 7.2, and wasn't much impressed, it was a mess. i'd rather use the linux command line than the gui. oh and i exaggerated a little when i said it's a decade behind (maybe 2 years behind), but i meant to say i really don't like it. btw i haven't used mandrake, is it similar to redhat? there you have it, the new MS Word, MS Excel and PowerPoint replacements. This is a very sad sad sad day... too bad they're not gonna have an access replacement Edited September 4, 2004 by hytga
