ExtraHye
Would it be cheating if a married or attaced man/woman flirts with someone else (online or real life). Or do you think it's just fun and games. Explain why please. Would this be a new topic Sasunik?

Maral
First of all, I find it necessary to clear up a very frustrating misconception about flirting: it may be used on a regular basis without the sole purpose of finding a date or a mate. Flirting is fun, it's healthy, and it's one of the greatest skills you will ever learn! Flirting is a form of communication that shows appreciation, attraction, and/or interest. It is of the moment and should be offered WITHOUT long-term goals! When you flirt, have only flirting in mind. Don't think about what it could turn into, because you should flirt for the enjoyment of putting your positive feelings out there for someone to enjoy. Flirting should be genuine and sincere, not flighty and irresponsible. The ability to flirt is the ability to take control of yourself and have an impact on the world! I can't stress enough that flirting is to make someone else feel good about themselves. When properly achieved, it is healthy, enjoyable, and refreshing for both people involved. nairi
But Maral, what if the person you're flirting with wants more, and then he/she has to find out you were just having fun? Wouldn't that hurt that person's feelings? And what about the "you asked for it", when things might turn aggressive?
Nakharar
Maral, so flirting shouldn't be restricted to only those of the opposite sex. I see no problem why we shouldn't "flirt" with someone of the same gender. I know you will all take it the wrong way but I have no sexual connotations in mind. What's wrong with flirting with both men and females?

But do most flirts don't think of the other person's feelings when they are having their fun. Most "serial flirts" do it to massage their own egos and personal insecurities - and sometimes are not even conscious that they are flirting which is why they can get aggresively angry when the victim of their flirting tries to take up the "invitation". Yes, but I meant the victim becoming aggressive towards the flirter and saying: "you asked for it". Now stop flirting with me

It's a fine line...and a woman should never put herself in a position where a man can take advantage of her anyways....well not unless she wants to be taken advantage of

I don't get the flirting with the same sex..but if that's what floats your boat Maybe flirting with the same sex is just complimenting a person and making them feel good about themselves...which is ok,the intentions are good. Yes, that is exactly what I meant. The latter part. Wow, you truly impressed me there. Someone that can read between the lines is too rare a quality one can find these days.
