Is it possible to reach the internet on the phone lines or do you need a special hook up? I wasn't sure where to post this. I hope this is ok. I discovered quite recently that we seem to have this in Turkey as well. I was trying to access a file on ozgurluk.org... It said something like "access forbidden"... Well, I used an anonymizer and there it was, smooth as cream. Really, I wasn't imagining it. Maybe if I can find the link again, I'll take a look and see if it works the same way.By the way, I read somewhere at the beginning of this year that Abkhazia was the only country in the world to not have the internet. And only a couple of months ago France banned all auction sites, and search engines like yahoo, because of their new fascistic "anti-Fascist" laws. In the US - access is often restricted in public access internet places (like libraries) by the authorities insisting that you pay for a supervisor to watch you.
