gevo27
Sip, that must have been scary. I am happy you did not injure yourself and did not have much damage on the car. I heard the NPR report as well. It was mostly for the people on dirt bikes who do not stay on the marked paths. i want to confess that i am guilty of this.. ,,, but oh well we are gonna liv once on this pesky planet, might as well make the most of it.. haha.. or so i hear from to many people ... But i never intentionally go off trail to destroy any greenery.. if im off trail then im on some cow made trail (there is plenty in Kern Valley) or th land is to dry for it to matter .. or im driving through a creek.. AHHHHHH i cant wit till this long weekend .... anyone care to join me? long hours of riding.. Oh and Sip, looks like you were using more mapower than horsepower in some of thos pics.. HAHAHAHA.. dang.. bet it was fun.. ***note to self.. do not forget to get gasoline

Sip
Don't remember if I've posted this here or not but here is the video of the flop (works in windows but not sure about mac). What happens is you're supposed to climb the two steps, then kinda hop sideways on the third step and go up the corner. Well ... while I was doing the hopping, my front tires happened to grip the rock a bit too well and pulled my front end up too quickly ... I can't wait to go back this spring and settle the score with this obstacle!

Some of the most amazing scenes on this Earth don't have paved roads leading up to them! Mos, where did you get sip_chicken? I see Sepahn's speed in that video. I could walk 2-3 times and back to the destination while a bunch of fools are pulling Sip's jeep and and then the Jeep turns over, and then they have to put it back and do it again.
