Armenians were involved not only in the commerce of precious stones and spices but also many of them were employed in diiferent positions in the Royal Duch and British Iron Company. Yes Gams, that is true, what caught my fancy was that a Hundu colony was founded in Armenia (Taron) during pre-Christian times. Below another look, as you state this Armenians in India rather than Hindus in Armenia. Although we see in this article the story of Zenob and the Indian colony; Click on the side bars/insets to see more stories. Although we see in this article the story of Zenob and the Indian colony; Well, name a place on the map where there is no Indian colony. More commonly known as gipsy. Acctually, Armenia was on their way to reaching Europe and I suppose some of them stayed. Not many though. They liked more the climate of the Balkans, Spain and Italy. He confirmed that Armenians primarily came (or I should say flourished) and went with Brits, well definately they were given Brit or European status.
