i did Outliers few months back by Malcolm Gladwell and found it to be such an excellent book that I practically made all my employees read it as well.

This book has been waiting for me on the nightstand for two weeks now :)

I'll get to it when I finish reading the short stories by Haruki Murakami and listening to the audiobook of the "Secret".

Italo Calvino "If on a winter's night a traveler." Not really familiar with Italian literature, last time I read something by an Italian author was something written by Umberto Eco. It was very difficult for me to get through his wordy prose, very arduous and at times pretentious. So I never bothered again. Not sure what to make of Calvino. I don't know if I'm a huge fan of abstract writing. Tried to get through jack kerouac and lorca, but couldn't do it. Perhaps I'm not mature enough yet.

Last impressionable books were The Fountainhead and Of Human Bondage. Pretty blown away by both.

Any other suggestions of some contemporary reads?

I like a French writer his name is: Michel Ragon. He is a rebel against the society. But He has also written books of arts and architecture.

I hope you can find one of his books translated in English.
