Thank you, dear Arpa, I did notice that the forum is not very active and there are only 8.5 active users, but I'm glad to be here. As for the genocide, Armenians do seem to be better at getting together for sad reasons rather than happy ones. "Gna meri, ari sirem" characterizes this trait of the nation so well. Ditsuhi jan, do you really want to be completely equal with men? Do you want to have to open the door in front of a man, otherwise you'll be considered a jerk? Have to tell him compliments or he will get depressed and hesitant about his style? And if you really-really like him, you might have to call him again after he didn't return your call? I know I'm oversimplifying things but on a broader scale, I personally haven't felt my rights being ignored because I'm a woman (knocking on wood! Three times!)
