But I want to use in the photograph an authentic Armenian textile, in the background, as a representation of her heritage. I would like to know if I could borrow an Armenian tapestry or other textile for use in this image...and I would gladly go anywhere in Ottawa to photograph it. Thank you very much for your time! Why not use a carpet design for the background. If there are rug shops in Ottawa then they might have Armenian carpets in stock - or have ones from Turkey that use the same designs.
