How? if you're using ArmNLS, you can right-click on the icon in system tray and you'll see the option at the top.but it shouldn't matter. both worked fine for me. But what a mess it is to type with typewriter layout...I also use KDWIN NLS AM, however I have had no problem with thr Gim, although some of my correspondents did. It has to be set to "phonetic" where the letters correspond more properly i.e. A is Ayb, B is Ben etc. When the program was new, the first version I did not like the position of Re and Ra so I changed/edited my keyboard setup, I place Ra where Re was and visa versa (Only then I realized how often we use RE v RA. At that time one had the option to edit, I don't see that option now, however the newer version seems to have corrected it, so now Re is where R is. Another nuisance is; Why is there a key for ev/yev? Yev is not a letter, it is a word. Some may think it is a letter since when we recite the Ayb Ben Gim we say .....yev O F. We do that because O and F were added to Mesropian Ayb Ben Gim during the 12th century, in other words what we are doing is recite the original Ayb Ben Gim and then say ..."and O F". Anyway before I forget the purpose of this post..I installed UNIcode and now I can read all that "gibberish" that used to look like UPC [universal bar codes], the next thing is- How to write? I type it in MS word, but as soon as I copy and paste it in the reply window, it turns into jibberish. I tried to change the encoding of my browser, but it doesn't help.
