What makes men and women cheat on their other half?

Personaly i believe there is No excuse for people who cheat NOT SO EVER!

No metter,..

- what the problem is

- Unfair the partner is

- Not Saticfied

- Not HAPPY

- MAD/UPSET

- NOT MATCHING!

- ... MUCH MORE!!

Cheating is not the ANSWER or the SULOTION between a couple <_< !!! there are many other ways, ..

- Communicating

- Understanding

- Willing to make sacrifices

- KEEN

- respectful & Fairth

- FullFill their PROMISE!

- Many other ways that a TRUE ADULT would think of other than cheating!

But i do believe its all in People's MATURITY, and how FAITHFUL & RESPECTFUL they realy are to themselves before other people!!

I know number of Armenian men who cheat(not with me lol) :D

Once an Armenian men told me that it is ok for men to cheat on their wives/gfs because sometimes a man can be drunk and could decide to have one night stand, but it is not ok for you woman to cheat because if a woman cheats that means that she's doing it because of a reason not because she's drunk and fells like having some fun for a night. This is how 90% of all Armenian men think.

If I ever found out that my husband/bf was cheating on me for whatever reason (dont' give a damn) there's no way that I'll ever accept him back. I have to be dumb to let it go and just continue living with him like nothing ever happened. I also think that i have much respect for myself to let an a****** (who hurt me alot) back into my life. Why would I want to do that if I can find someone better. I think that if something like that ever happens to me then I would loose all the respect that I had for that person and I would never be able to trust him or care for him again and if my feeling fades away then what's the point in accepting him back or wanting to be with him. If my husband wants to start sleeping around with others then he better get a divorce from me first and then he could do whomever he wants :)

Oh god there we go again.

Just because the rabiz aghperner you meet in the diaspora who probably came from the shittiest villages in Lori think this way doesn't mean this is 90% of the Armenian men. What is this negativity of Armenian women towards Armenian men anyway?

right on!!! i like that attitude! life is too short to put up with that s**t!!!---if you accept that person back into your life, they'll think it wasn't a big deal and if they do it again, they'll assume you'll accept them again with open arms!!! how sadly mistaken they are!!! But don't "throw the baby out with the bathwater". Every circumstance is different, so getting yourself into a mindset that cheating must be absolutely unforgivable is a dangerous thing. Perhaps such a relationship could be salvaged. It depends on the people involved, and if they think their relationship worth surviving. Everyone does stupid things sometimes. Absolute perfection in someone is never going to be found - and anyone who thinks they have found such a perfect being are probably in for a rude awakening at some point in their relationship.

Being unfaithful to someone is not something I would ever consider doing (I hope), but I could (and have) consider overlooking it when I have been cheated on. But if a partner indulges in repeated cheating, knowing the hurt it causes, then it is time to call it a day and move on.

Hey Anka you wrote: "once an Armenian man told me"....and then after that you write "this is how 90% of all Armenian men think". Well, this is doubtful. Can 1 person embody the entire nation? And then you say "an Armenian man"...have you ever talked to non-Armenians about cheating? If someone told you the silliest thing, showing his lower middle-class mentality that doesn't mean that all our men are alike. In Armenian communities family values are more solid and spiritual then anywhere else in the world. First of all you should talk to non-Armenian men about their "national" behavior within the wedlock. You'll be really surprised, believe me...

I meant guys from Yerevan who live in diaspora. I agree that most decent people left Yerevan. I was there this summer didn't like it at all.

Were you looking for someone in Armenia? You say our men cheat, that you don't like them and then you go there to find someone? I guess if you didn't like our men you wouldn't pay attention to those "from Yerevan".... did I get you right? :)

I think our women who consider our men cheaters, boors and loosers are the ones who suffered from their indifference towards them (the ladies). And there is such a notion "what is allowed to others is not permitted to Armenians" that's why when a single man cheats the entire community is being considered as "vulgar".

loool no I was not looking for a man in Yerevan hahaha

What makes you think that men are the only reason that I go to Yerevan? Trust me I'm not looking for an Armenian man at all. There's plenty of men in my area.

The onyl decent Armenian man I know is my father and I'm not just saying that because he's my dad (if he sucked I'd say that he's suks) but he's very different in many aspects.

heres my theory- thats y u dont date or get involved with men younger than the age of at least 24-25 because beginning at 16 to about age 22 they arent men- theyre still considered "guys" "dudes" still alot to learn- cant say completely immature- but some level of immaturity compared to those who are older....i dont think someone could be considered a man (socialy- not genetically or gender-wise)until they are married and are respoonsible and have children... not that its bad to be a "guy" and not a "man" i see certain differences though... i may be wrong- but this is strictly through observation and expereince- nothing statistical

but i have a few close guy friends whose behavior contradicts my lil theory- but they are few and they are not the average "men" or "dudes"

id like to treat each case individually- because each person is unique and when you get to know someone well enough- you learn alott of things that may contradict your previous beliefs- its the best way to learn :D

this sounds weird though ^ i just noticed that according to my little theory- one should get with someone who is married and has children -lol not what i intended to say- heres what i meant...

men are like grapes- you need to step all over them, smash, and squish them, then leave them to go through the process of fermentation- so that in a few years they can become something worth having dinner with- like fine wine!-- turn a "guy" into a "man" :D
