See... see... I told you it was serious, this board is too "masculine" and it's missing a woman touch.

Edited: For those English suckers  Musculine has not real equivalent in English(I don;t think it has), but a translation of a new English word will be, "malenised" or something like that.

You think I'm feminine?

Btw, "masculine" is an English word :)

Anyway, it still has to be done democratically, IMO. If I get a majority vote and the members tell me what they want/expect from me (keeping the basic rules of the forum in mind), I may reconsider. I wrote this to Mos in a PM as well.

this funny site of yours wasted 3+ hrs of mine.

plus, it made me think. think about serious stuff.

honestly, i hate that wanna-beism phenomenon too.

but i initially thought differently. i thounght, well, this is a [supposedly] free world, or at least we wish to think of it that way, where we should allow everyone to express themselves and choose a lifestyle accordingly.

but then, i started thinking...

what if the majority, or the overwhelming portion, choose a lifestyle that contains less moral and cultural values, that lacks inteligence, or that is plain stupid. what do the rest do? just let it be so? or do they take some action to stop that?

So Harut, let me get this right. You're calling the guy who did this site stupid??? He's a freakin genius! He's one of a few Armenians in this world who actually isn't a humorless cretin who takes himself way to seriously.

You obviously don't understand the concept of "intellectual comedy"

... and let me guess, his name is Vrej? ;)

I have to say I didn't go through a lot, but that site made me laugh a couple of times ... especially the part where it categorizes armenians into "hairy" and "very hairy" :D

but about this:

Did you know?...If you yelled for 8 years, 7 months and 6 days, you would have produced enough sound energy to heat one cup of coffee. If you fart consistently for 6 years and 9 months, enough gas is produced to create the energy of an atomic bomb.

Really? more than 6.5 years?!!! Whoever came up with that number, obviously hasn't met my cousin. Talk about weapons of mass distruction!!! :o

Just a one thing i'd ike to clarify:

Harut stated:

"what if the majority, or the overwhelming portion, choose a lifestyle that contains less moral and cultural values, that lacks inteligence, or that is plain stupid. what do the rest do? just let it be so? or do they take some action to stop that?"

Well Mr. Harut, intentionally or un-intentionally you have made a pretty good description of the Armenian people at this moment in time. And in regards to "what do we do?" Well I chose to do a website humorising it (Which you were quite happily browsing for 3 whole hours, so I must've done something right)

Kind regards,

The Godfather Don Gogortiloz

:D

i guess my question was more of a philosophical.

while i understand that they (people you're making fun of) have the right to have a lifestyle of their choice, and that you have the right to bash them (express your opinion), i want to know whether your effort is justified. that is, is it right to take the time and try to make a change in others' lives (assuming you don't just enjoy doing it).

Such a rise would mean an extra £4-a-week on the typical £80,000 mortgage, the Halifax said.

Martin Ellis, chief economist at the Halifax, said: "This is a figure which can easily be absorbed by the vast majority of UK households."

Mr Ellis added that another reason that a rates rise would have little effect is that half of all new borrowers were electing to take a fixed rate mortgage.

Halifax also said that although personal debt levels were high, historically low rates meant borrowing was still "affordable", with the average borrower spending 13.6% of their earnings on paying the interest on their mortgage
