My own grandmother was the daughter of a very wealthy man and they killed 145 member in her huge family. Only my grandmother, my great aunt and three of her brothers survived out of the 150 members family. On my father's side 13 members were killed in 1915 by Turks again and on my mothers father side more than 30 members were killed again by Turks. You see my Greek friend, that is why I was brought up to be very nationalistic and intermarry only with Armenians so that our nationality will grow to normal size again. The Turks did so much harm to both you and us. In Gibrya, in Greece and to Armenians, Assyrians and so on..... I have absolutely nothing against you. You may be a very good guy and probably your Armenian girlfriend is happy to have found you. However, the reason as to why we became more and more nationalistic, at least some of us, because the Turks through 600 years since they came from Mongolia to take over our country they constantly annihilated us to be the small size nationality we are today. Only the Greeks would understand us more than any other nationality in the world. So please, don't take so much offend from some of us, but try to understand that we have been hurt a lot, yet we are much small in quantity than you the Greeks, and that is why some of us would like to see our new generation to preserve our ethnicity and our heritage as much as possible. I said it to extend our Armenian hospitality and because I happen to have very good Greek friends. That is why. But when you started using foul language to me and also to Kakachik, plus you started saying pro turkish stupid things AND SHOWING YOUR TRUE UGLY COLORS, then obviously you become my enemy and I say as Gams said. I thought this Forum shouldn't accept such bad language and they should ban such people who use foul language like that towards women or anyone!!!!!!!! karakash Posted June 12, 2006 Report Share Posted June 12, 2006 Happy Mayis 28! Yesterday night, I went to party to celebrate Mayis 28. During midnight, we were watching Karnig Sarkissian live from Los Angeles. Apparently, he couldn't come here (to Montreal) because he helped those Armenians who organized the attack on the Turkish embassy in Ottawa... I saw Karnig sing at the Hovnanian Armenian School in NJ on Friday, June 2. It was the best Karnig concert I've ever been to. He started at around 1045 and ended at around 245 am. He still has an incredible voice and he really got the young ones singing along with him. It was an event organized by the NJ ARF and ANC.
