Guest Fadi
Kurtcebe: 1.3 Million Armenians Were Living In Anatolia During ThePeriod When 1.5 Armenians Were Alleged To Be Slaughtered Anadolu Agency: 5/6/2003 NIGDE - Prof. Dr. Israfil Kurtcebe, Chairman of History Department inFaculty of Science and Letters of Akdeniz University, said onTuesday, ''a total of one million 300 thousand Armenians were livingin Anatolia in a period when 1,5 million Armenians were alleged to beslaughtered.'' Yeah, yeah, another said Turkish historian, as well a PhD, Dr. Secil Akgun said in an interview published in Hurriyet(April 27, 1987 issues) that the acceptable number of Ottoman Armenian poplation is of between "two and three million," Professor Bertkay(that is treatned and called Bertkayian by your racist PhD alleged colleagues), another Turkish historian, a PhD like you, in an Interview published in the Turkish newspaper Radikal(October 9, 2000), has said: "At that time there were 1 million and 750 thousand Armenians living in Eastern Anatolia." He does not include the rest of the Armenians in the empire. Who to believe, an idiot and an alleged specialist such as yourself, that got an alleged PhD degree that has no more value then a toilette paper that is used by a monkey to wipe out what you know ? Making a speech in a conference on ''Armenian Issue and Role of BigCountries'', Kurtcebe said that genocide allegations which Armeniansclung tightly did not have any basis and Ottoman State had nevercommitted such a genocide. A little correction, you mean allegations from all the Holocaust and genocide institutes around the world, I guess again that it is a world conspiration against the poor poor Turks. Noting that the number of slaughtered people, which Armenians claimedso, was not clear, Kurtcebe said, ''unfortunately, some publicationorgans, which are known with their seriousness, are participatingwith this auction. For instance, while the number of killed Armenianswas published as 600 thousand in 1918 edition of EncyclopediaBritannica, this number is increased to 1.5 million in its 1968edition. Actually, it is clear, it has been more then a million after the genocide, and is still over a million now. Encyclopedia Britannica claim has been used for years by your pairs, I see that you can even not have enough imagination to find new nonsense by yourself, you need your government to prepare you what to say. The 600,000 is those given by Toynbee covering from 1915 to the end of 1915 and starting 1916, read Melson work, in his chapter covering the event, he remark that Toynbee last references end at the end of 1915 and starting 1916. So much goes for your Encyclopedia Britannica references... it is surprising still that while you take Ottoman government statistics as absolute truth to establish the number of Armenians living in Anatolia(that is still put into question, because even when taking the statistic in question, you can even not interprate the data, and we end up with, not only an underevaluation of the Armenian population, but as well, an underevaluation of the Ottoman own statistics, I guess this is the kind of knowledge that worthed your PhD), you reject this same Ottoman government statistics of 800,000 Armenian killed(without including the men murdered in the Army, and the rest of the population that perished), that covers from 1915 to the end of 1917(does not cover what the Turks did from 1918-1923), I don't understand Dr. why you accept one statistic and even underevaluate the statistic itself, and on the other hand, you reject the numbers of Armenian victims from the same "bodie" that did the statistic of population you take? There is a basic data which is considered as base. It isArmenian population in that period. There must be 1.5 million peoplefor 1.5 million people to die. A total of one million 300 thousandArmenians were living in Anatolia in a period when 1.5 millionArmenians were claimed to be slaughtered. Surprising Dr. that your allies say in fact that more then a million Armenians were exterminated, the German war inteligentsia bureau stationed in Ottoman, gave numbers of as much as 1.5 million(from 1.2-1.5 million), I am sure that theywere in position of being more accurate then you Dr., that is not so hard, from the evidences that you lack of the basic mathematical skills to interprate your own propaganda materials. When the cooperation whichArmenians made with other countries stranded Ottoman army, 2,435Armenian committee members in Istanbul were arrested. That is the daywhich Armenians call 'genocide' and blame us for killing 1.5 millionArmenians, the day when those committee members were arrested.'' Arresting intellectuals, is the first step of a methodological extermination, read Hilbergs book(as a Historian, that would be a first start for you), more particullary the chapter covering the arrest of Jewish intellectuals, before the generalised mass deportation. Noting that Turkish people had more losses than Armenians had in thatperiod, Kurtcebe said, ''if it is necessary to find a responsible forthe past incidents, those are Armenian committees which deceive theircitizens with vain promises to use them for their own aspirations andshed blood in East Anatolia. Yes, like the Jewish commitees of Europe are responsable of the faith of the European Jews ? You know, History is supposed to be a social science, and a basi scientifical methodology, of studying, and trying your theories on other events, would be a start, because mr. PhD, from your own logic, there was no Holocaust. Armenians were at most 15 percent ofEast Anatolia population and they lived as a minority among Turkishpeople. There is nobody who denies this. But, living in a certainplace in a certain period of time does not give anybody the right toown those lands. I will even not discuss about the %, knowing your limited knowledge on interprating datas, and statistics, but lets take your own logic here, if living in a place for a long time does not give you the right to own the land, then why the Turks should own the land ? because they were the ones that colonised the land, when Armenians were already living there, so why the Turks should own the land ? Because you yourself said that living there for a long time does not give you the right to own it. Please Dr. PhD, give me some explanations, explain me as well, if living there, gives the right to a group to surtaxes a group of population, only because of their ethnicity, and what that imply, as well, explain me why a group of the population had no right to defend itself on the court, simply because of their religion, had no right to carry arms because of their religion, etc... so, not only from your logic you take of the legitimity of the Turkish republic, but as wellgo even further, by admiting that living in a place for a long time does not give you the right to act as a master "race" and turn the rest of the population to near being slaves. It is obvious what the world will be like if everynation or community try to return to the lands which they had livedearlier or demand those lands. Furthermore, nobody expelledArmenians.'' OK, then if we expell all the Turks from Turkey, from your logic, they will not have the right to return ? Or shoud not return ? As for the Armenians not being expelled, I guess they were sent to pic-nic in the desert. I am just holding a toilette paper in my hand, unused, and I think you would be more credible exchanging it with your PhD. Idiot.
Arpa
What does PhD stand for?Doctor of "phibology"?A phib/fib is a "small lie" as when the little boy tells his mother; " The dog ate the cookies".This is the best example why we should never get into the numbers game.Is that why Ali Suat is not here anymore?Ask that "doctor of phibology" how many Turks there are in Anatolia today. He may tell you 60 million but he won't tell you that more than half of those are named Masis Ararart-oglu or Salaheddin Kurd-oglu.Numbers and statistics are highly subjective what is objective is that they got my ancestors' home, that is one, and your ancestors's home, that makes two, and on, and on.... who is counting!!!??? Never get into a "dialogue" with a Turk. The only dialogue they understand is the "dual-ogue" of the sword.Wait till our sword is sharp enough!!!! THOTH
Yes Domino - we have seen such before. Its funny that - if you would believe Turkish claims - and a genocide was commited by Armenains upon Turks during this period - why so is it that there are no Armenians left in Anatolia - but today the place is crawling with Turks...
