Sasun
Hey THOTH, I am also glad... the nationalists who oppose this idea should be reminded of the history when Armenia, Georgia, and Albania (whoever the f. Albanians were) were almost always military allies, and it was all natural dictated by the geography. One should note that in most cases Armenia took the major hits while Georgia benefited the most being a 'free rider' behind a buffer zone. They can again take advantage of this geographic advantage should this confederation become a reality. One more factor is the cultural similarities between the 3 of us. Of course, Ossetians, Abkhazians, even Chechens and others could also join. I can imagine that Russia also wouldn't like this idea. This confederation, in turn could itself be inside NATO. Accelerated
I think in the long run, a confederation or union of some sort will be the inevitable result. Either that, or we will remain in the dark ages for a very (VERY) long time, lets hope common sense will prevail........
sen_Vahan
Artsax is not solved yet, both Azerbajan and Georgia are even in worse economic situation, Georgia moreover has Abkhazia's problem again not solved yet.
