now only if the US will do the same one day

If I had to chose between life sentence and death sentence, I would pick the death sentence ... why? Since you are treated better and get to live longer, especially in Cali. We definitely need a more efficient capital punishment system.

Yea... If only. But you guys have a madman in the white house who himself has signed the death warrant of 147 (I'm not sure about the number) men and women. So it definitely won't happen while he's there.

You mean you'd choose the life sentence? Cos you said you'd choose the death sentence cos you live longer and are treated better. Am I missing something? Unless you're referring to being treated better after death, that's another issue. LOL

No I really did mean death sentence. In California, if you are on death row, you are put in completely different type of prison setting than for life sentence (general population). It's very unlikely that you will experience daily rapings and become someone's bitch. Plus, the way it is in California, they have more than 500 people on death row (I've heard) and at the rate they actually carry out executions, it would be several hundred years until your turn would come!

So, combine that with the fact that you are less likely to be killed in prison, no rapings, having your own private cel, I think it's fairly clear which one is the better alternative... well, at least for me anyway.

No country should have capital punishment. it is just wrong.

And yes in California and in general in the US it costs TOO much to kill someone. They should just do away with it and let them rot in regular jail.

Yes, Azat, I agree. Besides, there have been cases where the perps regretted it and repented. It's not like we're asking them to release them into society, but killing them is SO wrong. Killing for peace is like... ummmm... never mind. LOL

Not to mention cases where the people who were sentenced to death were later proven to be innocent. But what good is it after they've killed the person? That's a crime. It's disgusting.
