fightsport
I recently watched a movie by Michael Moore named Bowling for Columbine www.bowlingforcolumbine.com . It is a movie about gun control. My question is for those who have seen this movie. I noticed the writer mentioned the holocaust of the Jews and other major events that had taken place during the time guns have been around. My question is, why didnt the writer also make note of the Armenian Genocide ....... You'd think that after all these years, especially after Atom's movie ARARAT, people's knowledge of the genocide exsists, then I see a movie that mentions major cruelties done to human beings and the Armenian genocide is not listed.. Any feedback ????
vava
Hi Shawn, See our thread about the movie HERE . As for the relation between BFC & the Armenian Genocide... I'm not sure if there's a clear connection. It's not as though Moore attempts to list all of the great crimes/injustices of the century. He merely mentions that certain nations have an ugly violent past, and yet, there are less problems with crime/casualties than in the US.
