shiner
Harut,Now I know for sure. The first country that is known for granting women full voting rights is New Zealand. They did this in 1893. Australia followed in 1902, as well as other countries such as Finland and Sweden. In the U.S. women received full voting rights in 1920 as a result of the 19th Amendment. Even before this there were some individual states that allowed women to vote in the U.S. I don't know too much Armenian history, but in the international community Armenia is not viewed upon as the first country that allowed women to vote. Maybe they were among the first, or the first in that region, etc.
