The wine list is crazy. Oh, and in case you were wondering, as a general rule, wine/alcohol is only distributed through 'the government store' - and so up to three quarters of the price of alcohol is actually taxes!! In my (biased) opinion, it's the best in the city for Armenian/Middle Eastern food. Okay okay, it's my aunt's restaurant. lol But it's so good! I've had Zankou, and it is absolutely nothing in comparison to Sasoon. Honestly. The shawarma (tarna) sandwich at Zankou is a joke. It is so great and it is run by the most wonderful couple in the world. Tikin Nelli and her husband paron Karbis. To me it is the best Armenian restaurant in US. No joke.
