This was stated today by Armenian President Robert Kocharyan at ameeting with students in the Yerevan state architectural andconstruction university. According to the head of state, definitive recognition of the NagornyyArtsax Republic as a subject of international law should bestipulated in the package of conditions for settling the NagornyyArtsax conflict. Nevertheless, every year which the NKR exists onits own is another step towards recognition of Nagornyy Artsax bythe world community, Robert Kocharyan added. There are very few Armenians there, and there has not been any history of strong ties either in the diaspora or in the case of the RoA. Please post a source to this info. Indeed Markarian was their coach. But I think he is gone by now. And Uruguay beat Australia, making this the first World Cup with all the winners of previous Cups. Uruguay Senate Recognizes Genocide MONTEVIDEO, Uruguay--The Uruguay National Senate unanimously passed a resolution marking "April 24 a national day of remembrance for the Armenian Genocide." The Armenpress news agency, quoting the Armenian foreign ministry, reported that Uruguay is the first country in the world to recognize the Genocide in a resolution adopted in 1965. Resolution author Senator Dr. Alberto Sid said that the bill aimed at registering Uruguay's official position on the Armenian Genocide, as a crime against humanity. Sen. Jamado Fau said that the adoption of the resolution, "for a second time affirms justice regarding the Armenian Genocide." The legislature expressed hope that other countries will follow the example of his "small country" and adopt resolutions recognizing the Genocide. ---- i didn't find anything about NKR yet.but i'm sure i heard it.again, i might be wrong whether it is Paraguay or Uruguay.
