Name of Armenian Pepper?

There is a pepper, not hot, about 6"-8" long and a little fatter than a finger. Do you know the name of it?

We would eat them raw when still green.

Thankyou

There was a picture of them,I'm sure, on the thread: Tolma Festival. The pictures seem to have vanished. I have been given and planted a few of these seeds.

Pari luis MosJan, That is what the plan is. This plant was at the lower ranch, we potted it hoping for viable seeds. They turn red but are edible when green, yellow or red. I plan to wait until red, for the seeds,. These are from Western Armenia, but I have seen pictures of them on Hyeforum, can't seem to find the vedios now. We didn't have great luck with peppers this year, being too busy to properly tend them, this plant is our hope for nor gyank.

Just read your new post. Laugh or laughing peppers? That's as good a name as any. We call them Modair, or Yergar biber. I was wondering what they were called in Hyastan.

Our internet provider is down, has been to half hour or more. It's back!

Yes Mos, Tsitsak, ԾԻԾԱԿ.

ՏԱՔԴԵՂ literally means Hot Herb. ** Then why do we call these sweet bell peppers taqdegh?

Thank you Johannes for the site. Many I had forgotten, and even many more I never knew.

Below are they saying fleefe; ot flayfel or fleyfel? We know that flafel/falafel is the plural of Flfl.

فليفلة خضراء

Arpa, do you remember "haskuri pepper"?

I couldn't find it in net...

I like it so much.

"haskur" is a family name of haleptsi Christians.

No I don’t remember. Searching for Aleppo Pepper Haskouri , the following shows. I don’t know what language it is, Dutch maybe? Seems like the name of a person from Morocco. But observe the Aleppo Syrie next to the name

Where is our friend Nairi?

I just noticed something. Is it saying “Mohammed, born (blind) in Aleppo, Syria who died in 1974 at the age of 30“?

Geboren is as " has born"

Thank you again. Now I see that it means born, not dead.

Where would we be without our intellectual friends from Aleppo?

Still speaking that dolma and basturma are Armenian words?
