Sip Posted December 14, 2009 Report Share Posted December 14, 2009 Can't say much about Nexus One as I have no idea what you are talking about ... but overall I can say the Android platform is very very exciting and there is sure to be great things ahead. I am loving the Droid though and don't think I'll be leaving Verizon. The Droid is by far the best phone available with Android in my opinion as other ones require T-mobile or AT&T connections and they service just suck for me most of the time Actually, I am posting this from my laptop which is connected through the internet through bluetooth on my Droid. I get pretty good speeds (almost DSL like). As far as Whole Foods ... yah the problem is they charge by the pound ... I got like 2.5lb breakfast stuff (omlette + hashbrowns etc), 1.5lb fruit from the bar, 2 big soups (black bean and potato leak), 1 big chicken, and a couple fruit yogurts for desert and it came out $64 ... ya know, just an average sized meal. Never have i cursed at any one... today i was ready to do all that and to even bitch slap the folks behind the counter at Karinas Bakery... I have promised myself to never go there again because of their horrible service, but today I got a call from a friend and he asked if I can but "ptitsi moloko" cake from there to take to big bear where they are... I walked in and there are 3 people in front of me. we wait and just when im next 2 people cut in because the jackass behind the counter just says hello and starts talking to them(they know each other).. the lady behind me makes a comment about it. Im fuming but dont say anything. next she skips me this time and asks the lady who is behind me if she can help her... now Im really fuming... Finally I make a comment about it and being semi polite... She finally asks me what I would like. I ask for the cake. She asks me how many pieces. I tell her want the cake not cut. She says "can you go get it from the fridge and being it to the front. Im at my withs end and say "I going to pay for it so why dont you go get it while i take out the money" to which she says "ko himar himar xagheri jamanak chunem" I walked out but man oh man I was ready to bitch slap the a-hole. Them being busy is not an excuse.
