The war is a sham!

I apologise (to my fans ) I havnt been able to post latelly because of technical difficulties, which should be resolved by the end of next week.

Meanwhile a friend e-mailed me this article by a British independant reporter John Pilger. Thank God for people like him and Robert Fisk, for giving us a more objective view on matters. I agree with most of the stuff in this article, and urge you to post your opinion on this thread (and please no questioning of peoples sanity).

Here is the article:

A sham - "something that is not what it purports to be". 100% true in this case. However Pilger's definition of it is a fraud is a little more accurate: "a deliberate deception, trickery, or cheat, intended to gain an advantage".

But what advantage? I think Bush and Blair have been reading their history books. The events since september 11th mirror very closely the events in Berlin during 1933, The burning of the Reichstag building (as symbolic to Germany as the twin Towers were to America) in 1933 by Communist "fundamentalists" was used by Hitler as an excuse to massively increase his dictatorial powers and to introduce repressive laws that marked the end of Germany as a democracy. Bush and Blair are now doing the same. Who knows what horrors they are planning for the future.

Have you heard that the US government is buying up the rights to images of the aftermath of US bombing raids in Afgahnistan. This is to prevent their publication in America - a deviously elegant way of using the free-market to introduce state censorship into a country that in theory does not permit it. I wonder if the likes of MJ have seen in American media pictures like that row dead children in the cited news report? (Or do Americans get off on looking at pictures of children they have murdered).

Well, I think only yesterday they were talking about Iraq, Iran, N.Korea, Lybia and Sudan developing weapons of mass destruction. Iraq is being bombed almost daily anyway. Whats funny is why arnt they allowed to have these weapons? and the US the only country to have used these weapons on a mass scale (WW2, Vietnam) is allowed to keep them. And what about Israel? they never get mentioned, but everyone knows they have the bomb. Hypocracy of the highest callibre.

No I have not, but I wouldnt be surprised, Americans should know where their tax dollars are going.

The likes of MJ may have not seen such pictures, but occasionally they read materials like in this thread. And then they exclaim, "What a pathology...”

By the way, I great you both for finding each other.

Bell, I suggest we leave Mr Jejune to his own devices, after all if we do not mention him in our posts then he will not have a pretext on claiming that we have 'violated his personal space' and then as ussual accusing us of either being insane or incapacitated in some other matter. Mr Jejune, I will appreciate it if you do not post in my threads as I dont see that you are mentally capable in appreciating what is said. Why dont you instead go to the local church and sing the Republican battle hymn, I hear this is the latest craze in the US along with the lust for foreign blood.

When non Armenians attempt to invoke the image of dead chilldren as an intent or by product of the American bombing of Afghanistan, I invoke a mental picture of another sort.

Afterthe Turks collected and killed most of the adult Armenians and chilldren they found,

they movedon. Soon, the crying of chilldren could be heard everywhere. The Turkish farmers collected these surviving chilldren but soon found themselves with thousands. They wrote a letter asking what to do with the chilldren. The authorities responded with clear instructions. The surviving chilldren of Sasoon were taken out in boats, their throats slit and dumped overboard for the sharks.

So I cannot but compare the accidental killing of a few Afghan chilldren to the purposeful killing of chilldren by Muslim fishermen, people with families and chilldren of their own.

Even the naive Americans are waking up to the true face of Islam.

How about the delliberate starvation, can you compare that?

They WERE NOT Muslims, in the Koran it is explicitlly forbidden to kill civilians. Turks never took religion seriously anyway, just study the numerous Ottoman Emperors who were alcoholics (alcohol in ALL forms is forbidden in Islam). And what about the many Muslim Arabs and even some Turks and Kurds that saved us, if it wasnt for them we would have been fewer.

The average American doesnt have a clue about Islam let alone foreign affairs, the only source of their information is CNN.

Jabbernuts,

1. I feel sorry for you, but hope as you grow, you’ll find your place in life. I do think you have some mental capacity, but you have too big of an ego to rationally materialize it. And I hope that you are not too late (like some others) to find a proper place in life.

Over the last year, I have witnessed several denigrating/decaying personalities. They come and they go. One more, one less, what's the difference?

2. You don't have/own threads here.

3. You are pathetic. But who is perfect, right?

P.S. I welcome your extensive usage of dictionaries, as of lately.

Edward - what utter crap! Firstly there were no Turks in Sassoun. Secondly there are no lakes (or boats) there for children to be taken out in. Thirdly, be there lakes or no lakes, there are certainly no sharks in Anatolia (discounting the human variety).

If ever a few American children are "accidentally kiled" then I hope that one of them will be your child - maybe you will get some humanity and be able to feel what many parents in Afghanistan (or in the countless other places bombed by the USA) are now feeling.

No turks in Sasoon? Well,go to Page 274(Part of Asiatic Turkey, Distribution of peoples" [Frontiers of Language and Nationality in Europe by Leon Dominian published by the American Geografical Society of New York by Holt and Company, 1917] and look at the foldout map following. Also, I'm speaking of the province of Sassoon not just the city.

No water? Have you heard of the Black Sea? Sassoon borders on the Black Sea. If you examine the map, you will notice small Armenian areas hugging the seashore from the 32 parallel, 33.4, 35 to 36 parallels,(just northewst of Sassoon.)again at the 40th parrallel.

Lets see you challenge that.

I have been participating in this forum long enough to know how many people 'you feel sorry for'. Perharps it is your own turn?

I meant, threads/topics that I start, I feel this is the only way of me not having my mental capacity and/or integrity challenged.

Actually I only use one, the Oxford. And the fancy words you use may beat others into submission, but I will fight to the last, this is not to say that you mean more to me than the dirt that accumulates underneath my toe-nail after a hard days work, and is silently washed down the drain in the shower.

Yes, I feel sorry for many in this forum and elsewhere. You undoubtly are one of them. But unlike some others, you still have some chance.

I also feel sorry for myself, since I have to deal with your type.

As to the dirth you have to wash, start from your brain, go to your heart, and then think of your feet.

To understand what is going on you have to understand what has happened to American Christianity. It is marching toward a Christian version of Taliban and Al-Queda thought. One of the coalition partners of those now in power is indicated by the appointment of one of their leaders, Ashcroft, as Attorney General. This version of Christianity is as much a distortion of the teachings of Jesus as the thinking of Taliban and Bin Laden are a distortion of the teachings of Mohammed. Many in the Moslem world view the present US administration as on a Christian "Jihad," hellbent on converting the world to their beliefs either by missionary work or by force. This is actively going on in America and around the world. Below the surface is the fact that a Christian fundamentalist backed regieme is fighting a war against a Islamic fundamentalist movement. A secular US adminstration will have more credibility fighting Islamic terror than an Administration supporting Christian Jihad. A McCain, Gore or Bradley Presidency would not be supporting Christian Jihad, but the present adminstration clearly does. It is no wonder that the Al-Queda decided to strike America under a Bush Administration.

What sort of crazy map are you looking at Edward? Sassoun (both town and district) is to the south of Moush, over the hills. It is many hundreds of miles from the Black sea. There were almost no Turks living in Sassoun in 1915, only a mixture of Armenian and Kurdish villages, and a large number of nomadic Kurds that lived almost like bandits.

hagarag,

Erm, I must disagree..... a Christian fundamentalist regime would throw out all non-Christians (ie. Jews) out of the administration, and this isnt happening.

Speaking of egos, indeed I do have an ego, and indeed in todays world an ego is a must if success is to be achieved. And even if I find this not to be the case I am young and vain (and that is my excuse). But what is the excuse for your overbearing ego?

I stated Christian fundamentalist BACKED regieme. Not all Republicans or Bush backers are fundamentalist Christians, especially not the Jews or Moslems. His support comes from many interests. His chief cultural guru, however, is a former adherent of Judaism and a former American Communist. Shows you how close communist thinking is to the thinking of his adminstration. I will NEVER forget when Nixon stated that he would prefer to be the leader of China because Mao has the means to quash dissent in his country, a power Nixon doesn't have. Bush is just a "warm and fuzzy" version of Nixon. I don't trust any of those guys, but I trust and revere McCain, even though I am a Democrat because he believes in the principles upon which America was founded. He knows what it is to suffer in a prisoner-of-war camp. Builds more character than paying golf or having your Daddy set you up in the oil business. A Lincolnian Republican, not a Nixonian one.
