Berj Posted March 11, 2001 Report Share Posted March 11, 2001 "AZG" Armenian Daily # 44, 03/10/2001 ANCIENT TOMBS FOUND NEAR SEVAN LAKE On the southwestern shore of Lake Sevan, near village Eranos Armenian archeologists found ancient tombs field. As the head of expedition group, a member of ethnography and archeology institute of Armenian National Academy of Sciences Ashot Piliposian informed, the tombs field, which dates back to 15 century BC, remained undestroyed. The archeologists found remains of 14 people. The adornments found on them are similar to those found in Karabagh territory and in Nakhichevan.
