Garo - are you sure about Fireworks (I don't have a recent copy) - by "interactive map" I don't just mean an image map, but the text/image boxes (div's) that appear (become visible) when the mouseover event is triggered. Garo Posted July 22, 2001 Report Share Posted July 22, 2001 Steve the sites I was talking about were if I'm not mistaken telecommunication and distributors sites with US map and mouse overs on cities. can't remember the exact urls now.Yes with Firework you can make a nice layout (map or other graphics) and set mouse overs with image swap. It'll generate the javascript source compatible with both IE and NN. It uses image swap effect but I've seen sites using only layers to do this kind of things as well. The cool thing with the last one is that you can add motion to the layer. And for this I thing the best will be Dreamweaver/Fireworks combination.Also if I'm not mistaken Adobe LiveMotion can do the same thing. HAven't played with it much though.
